  1. Hi, I have been pretty dizzy since my surgery 8/27/08. I got a bit paranoid as I am on anti-coagulants and worried about internal bleeding, but the surgeon said in my case it is just the anesthesia wearing off. It is sure seeming to take a while, but a friend and I went out for a short walk today and for a little bit the dizziness went away for a bit.
  2. Hi, I am newly banded (8/27) and decided I needed to meet some new folks and get some support instead of watching "I love Lucy" reruns. I am struggling a bit emotionally after my surgery. I ready Kahliah Ali's book "Fighting Weight" and thought it was fantastic. I passed it on to my brother and hope that he will consider the surgery in the future. I am an avid scrapbooker and have been photographing the entire process, including everywhere but the operating room. I had a vena Cava filter inserted before my surgery due to a history of blood clots and the radiology team gave me a photo of the inside of my vena cava. It was really crazy! Anyway, just thought I would say hi. C
  3. Hello from Oregon. I also had my surgery on the 27th. I notice that sometimes when I sit up, I feel pulling but since I can't figure out where the port it, I am not sure if it is the port. I have been quite sore and find that at this point it seems to be when I move in different directions or am lying down. Take care, Chris
