  1. Fingers crossed. I’m stating to get anxious
  2. My cats have been extra needy today and my rag doll was so mad I wouldn’t play with her every minute of the day.
  3. No, tomorrow. I’m trying to keep it together and might be due to sleep deprivation, food deprivation, caffeine deprivation, and election stress. Plus I live alone and although I have great support i live an hour from the hospital.
  4. I’m glad you are okay. I’m up tomorrow and I’m starting to get a little freaked out today.
  5. Same for me and then covid hit. I’m up tomorrow.
  6. I’m up tomorrow and all I can think is by this time next week I can eat soup...not broth, not jello, but something that tastes good! Glad to hear you are doing well.
  7. Weight is such a shame based thing. I remember the first time I put my real weight on my drivers license. I think you should be honest. He knows you are having WLS. If you were truthful wouldn’t that be a relief? I think pushing yourself too hard for a man is dangerous. This is your journey, you started this before you reconnected. It’s easy for me to say if he doesn’t accept you for you he isn’t worth it...but I get it. Just be safe and know we are here to support you. ?
  8. When I had my band, band revision, and eventual band removal I remember the pain in my shoulder. So not looking forward to that again ?
  9. It didn’t hurt. It was just uncomfortable ?
  10. Yeah the covid test was super fun...
  11. I’m glad to hear you are doing well. Covid test today and surgery in 2 more days.
  12. I have 4 more days before surgery. I’m a lifer on anticoagulants so tomorrow I start 4 lovenox shots a day. How is your pain and mobility?
  13. I am so tired of jello and protein shakes...but I only have a few days left. How are you doing?
  14. Oh trust me I’m not decreasing my fluid intake but I need some serious sleep instead of being up every hour. No coffee, no food, no sleep. I’m a $$*)#@ ray of sunshine...4 more days..............
  15. It’s hard but stick to it. If you don’t shrink your liver they can stop before they start your surgery. One of my friends who doesn’t know I’m having surgery sent me some of my favorite Canadian candy and peanut butter...ugh......so the candy will go to my dad.
  16. I am so tired because I am up all night having to use the bathroom. Every hour...ugh. I just keep thinking next week I can have soup.
  17. I was just curious as it isn’t presented as an option here. It’s great that you have a date after going through it twice.
  18. That’s a bummer! It’s such a long process! Can I ask why you chose the DS?
  19. Oh to chew food that isn’t jello. I’m jealous! I’m actually from Edmonton ? but transplanted to oregon. Gonna go eat some jello...?
  20. You are two days after me. How are you surviving the pre op torture diet?
