HELP!! I have 9cc's in my 11cc band.....and i have gained all my weight back----- im scared to go back to the dr, i dont want to get yelled at.... In November I stopped losing and couldnt stop sleeping and I went to my primary dr where I found out that my Thyroid is all messed up again and my vit d was extremely low like a 4 out of 35. So I got that in check and was feeling soo much better and energetic by the time the holidays came around. Then two days before Christmas I got pneumonia and was put on bed rest for two weeks.......Then I recovered then through out my back and cannot do any exercise since then. I have been doing back therapy twice a week since then. And still am going... Yesterday I barely got released to do the elliptical with out using the moving bars. Thats when I weighed myself and was CRUSHED.... Now that I think about it, I should have noticed when I lost all the compliments and people asking how Im doing that I had gained weight..... The only positive thing from this is I havent exceeded preop weight....and I will NOT! Im scared that there is nothing they can do for me..... will they give me another fill since i am soo close......

Heyyy guys!! Sorry it took soo long for me to finally post how my surgery went! So on Thursday I arrived at the outpatient center at about 10:00 and was pulled back to prep at 10:30 -- My surgeon then came in and told me they were running behind so instead of going in at 12:30, I was going in at 1. Which was fine.. haha.. I was having fun with my best friend and my mom waiting in the pre-op area. Well then they took me back and I only remember them strapping me down and then I woke up in recovery. I could barely see a thing and had no idea what was going on and then the nurse came out of no where and was like we cant find your mom.. and I started having an anxiety attack and my blood pressure went up.. haha.. I didnt like that feeling and then they found her thank goodness. So after about an hour in recovery they moved me to my room and I was released to go home at about 9 pm after they controlled my nausea -- that was exciting.. I wasnt having any pain other than from the gas -- wow that really hurt for me.... I went home and had some broth and took some pain medicine and passed out for the night.. When I woke up I had a lot of pain from the gas and pretty much walked allll day. Now today the 3rd day .. I feel great!! I have little discomfort at the port site and all my other incisions havent even hurt one bit.. and the gas is subsiding-- woohoo! I decided not to take any of the pain medicine today i just took some liquid tylenol which helped with the discomfort and I am saving the prescribed pain medicine for sleepy time:wink2: Well I think thats it.. if I remember anything else I will let you know!! :tt2:

Okay everyone... Today is the day!! I am sooo excited!!! Yesterday I had to take that dumb citrat magnesium stuff.. Wow, my tummy was making weird noises allll night! But other than that it was a good prep day. Right now I am in the car driving to Scottsdale Bariatric. I have to be there at 10:30 for my 12:30 surgery! You know, I am definitley not nervous more excited than anything and that just shows I am soo ready! Well anyways we are about to pull up. I will write aftwerwards with all the details! hey guys just another reminder mine was moved to May 7th!! but everyone else lets get the domino effect going -- yay! for the mayo banditos!!!

I just wanted to let you know that I live in Glendale and am being banded on May 7th.. I have BCBS and they are great - I was approved in a week and I have a BMI of 39 and no co-morbidities.. I was soo nervous, but they approved me.. And Scottsdale Bariatric is great, they are on top of everything and have the nicest staff! I am having Dr Blackstone do my band, but Dr Sprunger is very nice too! I wish you all the best, and try not to worry too much... I did and I shouldnt have :smile2: Although sometimes you cant help it lol Message me if you have any more questions and you guys are pretty close to me if you live in Anthem

I havent had my surgery yet, but i just finished my pre-op class and they kept emphasizing that we would be up to 20 lbs heavier after surgery because of all the fluids and swelling of the feet and hands and not to be scared. But to fix it she told us to keep taking sips of water to flush the fluids out of our body. Hope that helps

BOOOOOO the bariatric center called me this morning... they moved my surgery to May 7th... so an extra week added on, it was the 1st... oh well... good things are worth the wait
