Ok, I just ate 1/2 english muffin with ricotta cheese on it. (nutritionist's suggestion) I am not sliming and I can swallow and spit, and a couple of sips of crystal light stays down. I feel a lot of pressure, its not painful, just pressure. I ate the 1/2 over 20 min and took little bites. Did I eat too much or is it stuck?

The good: Eating less than a normal serving of food and being full. The bad: Itchy scars from surgery because I am allergic to the tape and staples The ugly: A friend refuses to talk to me about our weight or diets or anything like that when we used to all the time.

Now that made me laugh in my cubicle at work!!!!

I know exactly how you feel!!!!! I was ready to roll and my lab work came back that I had H pylori. Stupid bacteria. At least iron pills are itty bitty. I had to take 3 horse pill antibiotics and a prilosec in the morning and at night. Trust me, the two months will go by fast. I got my band two weeks ago and Im still wondering where the time went.

I found out today that the nutrionist in my Dr's office changed from what I saw that it was some time back. I cant have chicken of anysort for 3 more weeks. I can have fish in 2. So what has been added on to my diet (just coming off liquids from surgery 8-15) EGGS! English muffins! String cheese Eggs and muffins, isnt this the crap that a BUNCH of bandsters have problems with??!?!! I want to chew, but i am terrified!

Yup, they sewed that sucker to our abdominal muscles. I hate to sneeze. It kills me. I hope that when I am cleared to go back to excercising (end of sept) It will be all healed up and i wont have that issue. I have a spot on the right handside where they stuck something in for the laproscopic instruments that I have to be very careful with when i get out of bed or roll over. I hit the alarm clock like I always do (quick reach over and smack it) and thought, betwnen that spot and the port, I was gonna die. (And dont worry, Im right there and full of it too )

Yup, same here. A couple of days before banding, we were doing some errands and lunch was late and I was very shaky. Yesterday, I was at work allday. Had a protien shake for breakfast, soup for lunch(11am) and didnt get supper till almost 7. No shakes, no hunger. Preband I would have wanted to kill someone

I like www.eas.com for the carb control line of ready to drink drinks, the choc and coffee flavors are very good. Plus they are on sale. www.unjury.com also has a good line of powders As for vitamins, my Bi-lo(grocery store) pharamcist showed me the chewable Centrum vitamins. THey are oranged flavored, they arent Flintstones "good". But they are ok.

GE Mom, you are ok. You are building up matter in your colon. DONT go back to liquids because you think you are gaining weight. Please make sure you are getting in your water and your protien. If you are, you will be ok. As far as the port hurting. Where is it? Mine is at my bra line and I layed on my stomach last night and its hurting me now. Think of the last 24 hrs and think if you turned the wrong way or bumped it. The port and the weight gain shouldnt have anything to dowith each other.

I have been a Curves member for 3 years. I have lost 50 lbs. Think of how much I could have lost if I had the band 3 yrs ago.. sigh. I just had the band put in and I feel like a sloth cause I cant go back till oct 6th.
