SARAHNEW reacted to TheWeightisOvr in 3 rd after surgeryNo you didn’t make a mistake, yes you did the right thing! I promise. Now you just have this to distract you from the thing that was making you miserable in the first place that made you want to get the surgery. So you can’t turn to that for comfort now.
Give yourself a lot of grace and visualize yoke healing. I walked, sat when I was pushing it too much. I had a heating pad which was heavenly. Tylenol was my friend, the one with narcotics in it lol I chewed on Gas X like sweet tarts. I loved hot tea, sugar free popsicles.
everyone is 10000% correct that you are going to feel amazing. Distract yourself as much as you can. I’m 3 1/2 months out and I love my restriction. It helps me focus, it’s reset my hormones. My cholesterol is almost 200 points down.
sending hugs and healing your way.

SARAHNEW got a reaction from Sunshine Princess in Best Vegetables To Start EatingI agree totally with steamed squash or even squash soup. I also think maybe if not considered too fibrous spinach cooked, and also steamed mashed carrots.

SARAHNEW got a reaction from lroever in took first stepThank you all. The webinar session is going to be going over the different procedures and the pros and cons with a doctor talking about it. I am glad to hear for some it was helpful. I am trying to get all the information I can to make the correct decision for myself. I believe in gathering all the information you can Good and Bad before, making a life-altering decision like this.

SARAHNEW got a reaction from FarfelDiego in took first stepGood afternoon to one and all.
I have taken my first step on the journey to being able to schedule my surgery. This Wednesday, June 8 I have my webinar session needed to be able to see the doctor.
I know this is required but what did other people think of it when you had to watch it?

SARAHNEW got a reaction from summerseeker in Dreaded hair loss - questionBypassingmyphat,
I am just beginning my journey to surgery and have been doing research and learning all I can. My gut feeling on this is to go cut it yourself, take control over the one piece of this journey you can at this point. If it is long enough donate it to a charity that uses the hair to make wigs for cancer patients. That way you can bring some good to someone else.
