Heya everyone! I'm scheduled for surgery June 26th! Seems so close now, especially considering I began the process in February...of 2021. My daughter is my main motivation for getting the surgery. She is 10 and non-verbal autistic. She'll likely never be able to live independently, so I want to make sure I do everything I can to take care of her as long as possible.
I mean, being able to shop in the regular women's section, and fit on rollercoaster and airplane seats will also be nice. But my little girl is my world, and it breaks my heart to think that someday I'll die, and she might not understand what happened, or where I've gone... so I'm doing all I can to make sure that day is a long, long time away.

Just do what I do to keep my humour up when stalls hit: I give each one a name, like cyclones/hurricanes get names. That way I can shout things like "Oh for god's sake Beryl are you still here?!"
