I just cant seem to come at the idea of a robot doing surgery on me. I will be having an RNY. Dont surgeons need to feel/look inside a body in order to do a good job. Maybe it is all too new fangled or I am too old? ?

Best to go back to the person who told you to start doing low carb and ask them what they mean mean by low carb and what are the limits.

Hello summerseeker, I am so glad that your body is feeling so much better now. You give me hope when I am treading the path that you trod. Being breathless, needing walking aides, Walking to the grocery shop and to the hospital yesterday was frightening as my balance was so bad. I am also diabetic T2cand on insulin. It must be wonderful to have gotten rid of that, It feels like I am well over due for a fall that is going to break something. People talk about an out of body experiences but yesterday was a very unpleasantt innerbody experience, Haha.... not so much. Being on this side of the operation kinda daunting. Thankyou for sharing what happening with swelling and that you did get through it. Every persons journey is so different. PS Is there a chat room here?

Stress alone will easily kick your sugar levels up. It is easy enough for them to bring your levels down by giving you some insulin on the day to correct this.

yeah, I can get into the edit profile part but that only wants my date of birth and where I live - nothing about height and weight etc.

Thanks for the welcome. I can get into my settings and details via the dropdown menu but it wont let me enter information. Maybe I need to wait until tomorrow. I just joined 2 hours ago. When I try to enter the details on my computer it just flips to the bottom of the page. Any other ideas please.

When I looked at the start of this forum it mentioned members for the UK area here. I am from across another pond and live in Victoria Australia. Going for an RNY on the 9th of May 22. I am trying to find my way around this site. I would also like to know when and how I can enter my details about myself on the left hand size of this screen. Hope to hear from some-one.

Hiya, I have booked in with my surgeon for the 9th May. I need to do the Optifast Diet for two weeks prior. Its kind of daunting but good at the same time.
