  1. I'm so sorry for what you have been dealing with. I recently had surgery, and I 100% regret my decision. I was relativity "healthy" by medical standards, but I was just FAT! I wish I would've just accepted myself and my body the way it was. The complications aren't worth the weight loss in my opinion.
  2. I had surgery on March 5th; I 100% regret my decision to have surgery. There is so much I wish I had known before getting this done. I know it's still early in my journey, but I was "healthy" by medical standards, but I was just FAT! I wish I would have just excepted that about myself... I personally think everyone should have mandatory meetings with a therapist for the six months before surgery.
  3. Yes, my doctor arranged for me to go to the outpatient clinic. Thank you
  4. I had surgery on March 5th, and I'm struggling so much!!! I'm having a tough time getting enough fluids down. I will have to obtain a fluid IV infusion because I'm dehydrated. I'm barely eating food because I'm trying to get fluids in. I feel like everyone is so confident in their decision to have surgery, but I'm starting to regret it. I know it's supposed to get easier, and I hope so because I can't imagine living like a this
  5. Hello All! I have a gastric sleeve today, March 5th, in Michigan, and I have to say that I am terrified! I have wanted this for so long(covid delays), but as I sit here in the hospital, I can not help wonder if I am making the right choice. Pre-surgery jitters, for sure!
