I had my surgery on 3/24 and im doing well. Gas pains are in my shoulder and the top of my pouch. I’ve been walking in my house ever 30 mins. This morning was the First time I was able to drink a half a cup of sugar free Powerade. I had my buyers remorse when night after my surgery. Everything hurt and I just cried. I’m so glad I feel better today. -

Congratulations I’m 8 days away. I’ve lost 6 pounds so far but gain two due to my period coming ugh. I need it to be over before my surgery. One less thing to worry about. -

@Nurse2u I’m on day two of my pre-op diet and I’m doing ok. I have a headache in the afternoon but the strained soup at night helps me. Surgery on March 24th for bypass. -

I had the same question and my doctor advised bypass due to my sweet tooth. Surgery scheduled on the 24th of this month. Praying for a positive outcome for everyone on this journey.
