  1. Sometimes I feel barely no restriction and other days it's so tight it hurts.
  2. Finally hit my halfway mark. 138 down since 11/19/21 135 ish to go!

  4. So far so good. 5 months post op and realized that I need to hit a minimum 1200-1400 calories a day to lose. Any less absolutely results in stalled weight. Down 125 lbs so far though!
  5. All good here :) feeling great. I’ve lost 102 lbs since my pre op diet starting and 92 since surgery.
  6. I had the sleeve at 538 - I've lost 94 lbs in the last 3 months.
  7. Anybody else started at over 500 lbs?! Currently 9 weeks post op VSG and down 85 lbs! When did you notice your body changing?
  8. So far so good! 7 weeks post op. 68 lbs down. Getting in water is much easier with a straw (Was approved to use a straw by my surgeon's office) Now just gotta find a vitamin that doesn't make me nauseated.
  9. Down 56 lbs 1 month post op! 20 inches gone! 20% of the way to goal (I want to lose 260 lbs)
  10. 30 days since starting my pre op diet & 11 days since surgery & down 47 lbs!
  11. Got moved to soft foods 1 week early because protein shakes have been giving me awful diarrhea.
  12. I feel GREAT. My incisions are wonky but I’m getting my protein in most days.
  13. 11/19 1 week weigh in & down 25 lbs!
  14. 11/19 and 0 pain. I feel perfectly fine. I wish I was 7 days in so I could have some mashed potatoes or grits and applesauce lol This clear liquids thing is for the birds.
  15. 2 days post op - I’m feeling good. It’s hard to get liquids down but working on it. Since pre op started 10/31 I’m down 30 lbs!
  16. Surgery is Friday! (2 more days!!) Down 25 lbs since preop started 15 days ago. I’m super excited to see what happens post op or if I’m just getting my hopes up.
  17. I’m finding myself not hungry. (Pre-op) I’m still supposed to be eating on my diet but yesterday I forgot to eat lunch (protein shake), had no snacks all day, and got full at dinner really quickly. Is that normal during the pre op diet? Did you still eat each meal even when you weren’t hungry? (Surgery 11/19)
  18. As of today (7 days pre op) I’m officially down 21 lbs Mine is protein shakes for breakfast and lunch Fruit snack Protein snack (2 oz of cheese, yogurt, or 2 boiled eggs) 1 sensible dinner and I can choose a protein, vegetable, starch)
  19. Pre op has definitely gotten easier. Not quite a full week in and I’ve lost 13 lbs!
  20. Day 3 pre op. Did good today. Didn’t cheat. My protein snack I’m tired of eggs so I put some cheese sticks with oregano and melted it and it was GREAT. I look forward to dinner and my 2 snacks because the liquid breakfast and lunch has been intense. But I guess it’s a pro that I can eat right?
  21. I’m allowed - Protein shake breakfast - Fruit snack - Protein shake lunch - Protein snack - Sensible dinner Which I know is a lot - buuuut it’s a drastic calorie decrease.
  22. I’m struggling with the pre op and it’s only day 1. I’m STARVING.
  23. Can you share photos of your before and after if your starting weight was over 500 lbs and you got the sleeve? How long did it take to get there.
  24. I’m November 19th! Starting my pre op diet (she said as soon as possible) luckily I can still eat. It’s 3 protein shakes, 1 protein snack, 1 fruit serving, and 1 sensible meal
