  1. I already had my iud (Kyleena) for 2 years before surgery and I like it because I don’t have to think about it. The insertion was more painful than surgery lol.
  2. I’m 12 weeks post op and have also been COLD recently. But is it because I’ve lost 55 lbs, or because it’s winter in Chicago?? ? (probably both) sometimes I have to put on a hoody in my apartment and sleep with socks on.
  3. I had bad gas pain in my shoulder/neck and it was so hard to get comfortable the first night. Walking around really helped me feel better!
  4. My dietician specifically told us to stay away from Herbalife and other MLM shakes lol. I liked the premier protein brand, they have tons of flavors to try. I also use the Vega brand but I only like the chocolate flavor.
  5. Hi! I had my surgery on 10/11, too! I’ve been feeling pretty good actually. I haven’t had any issues with foods (although I miss bread, I really want a good deli sandwich). I’ve been good about listening to my stomach when it’s full and not over eating. My go to was scrambled eggs and the ricotta bake for dinner! I moved onto soft foods today, had 1 hard boiled egg with a turkey sausage patty, and chicken salad with avocado for lunch so far! And keeping up with my water and vitamins although sometimes it’s hard to get to the 64oz of water every day without wanting to chug.
