  1. 4 months post op as of May 20th. I have spoke with my doctor on calorie intake, but I’m curious what others are/where consuming at this time. Especially carbs, my doctor doesn’t like to give me a particular amounts because she says it depends are where they are coming from. For example she says I shouldn’t be too focused on the carbs that come from fruit which I understand but would still like to know a general amount. I also feel like my weight loss is starting to slow down. Lol I’m constantly stressing myself out about all of this.
  2. After sleeve surgery I would be have the same feeling of something being stuck in my throat. I would also have a nasty taste in mouth, especially after drinking water. Come fo find out it dealt with acid reflux. These were my only 2 symptoms and after my doctor prescribed me medication it soon went away. If I do skip the medicine for a few days it quickly returns so I try to stay on top of it.
  3. Doing way better! Finally get to go back to work on Friday, I’m so ready to get back into a normal routine. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I was having chest pain, fast heart rate, and getting dizzy my second week but it was due to dehydration. I also had gotten thrush. Definitely an experience I won’t forget lol.
  4. My starting weight was 396. Iost about 12 pounds pre op. My pre op diet was supposed to be 10 days. I’m saying supposed to be because I did good the first couple days then started fell off. Definitely could’ve lost more during the pre op if I hadn’t fell off. Everybody’s is different though. Some of the girls I follow on insta got to eat during their pre op diet, I was clear liquids only. I have not started to work out yet, I do plan on getting back in the gym next week since I’m about to be released back to work. My doctor wants me to just focus on cardio right now.
  5. Sleeved at 22 on 01/20/21! I am currently down 34 pounds (weight lost from pre op diet included).
  6. I definitely over packed for my one night stay. The things that I used ended up being my charger, a soft throw & pillow from home for extra comfort because hospital beds are not ideal for being comfortable lol, and fuzzy socks/ a pair of slippers. I packed extra pajamas, but the only time I changed was when I went from the gown to pajamas.
  7. Sleeved 1/20/21. I was MISERABLE my first week. I also had a couple problems post op, but I’m finally starting to feel like myself again!
