  1. I went to a nurse practitioner in Millburn NJ. She was better than the Dr. I went to and spent more time explaining everything to me. Not only was she a lot cheaper, she gives you a week or so to come back for an adjustment at no charge and even submits to insurance. My insurance didn't cover it, but the friend who referred me was reimbursed.
  2. Hi Everyone, I am new to the whole idea of surgery. I want to learn what's better, the lap band or bypass. What about the sleeve, how is that different from the band? Also, I have no insurance and want to learn what centers in Mexico are credible. I am 198 lbs and 5'2". I also need to learn where to go in the US for follow-up. I live in NY and every place I checked out is very expensive. I've tried every diet in the book and I've gained 3-5 lbs a year for the last 15 years since I quit smoking. I need to do something. Thanks for your help.
