  1. I’m really glad there is a big variety of liquids my surgeon is allowing! Good luck to you!!
  2. Hi everyone! In exactly one month I will begin my pre-op liquid diet. I am allowed Jell-o, popsicles, broth, protein drinks, milk, vegetable juice, fruit juice, etc. I am worried about going on this diet and sticking with it for 2 weeks. I thought about easing into the diet, like having just a protein drink for breakfast the next 2 weeks. Then the following 2 weeks I am thinking about doing liquids for breakfast and lunch and eating supper as usual. I think this might be a way to help me ease into it and curb cravings. What were your experiences with the pre-op diet? How did you stick to it for the full 2 weeks?
  3. Thank you for all your replies! I am a little worried about the mental fog, fatigue, and emotional stress. I do have additional PTO, but I hate taking time off work.
  4. Hello everyone! I am a high school teacher and am scheduled to have the sleeve my first day of spring break. I also took off the week following that. I understand that everyone heals and recovers differently and in their own time, however, I am wondering how quickly some of you were able to return to work (if your job isn’t too physically straining)?
  5. I have really been enjoying the Fairlife drinks. They don’t have any strange tastes or textures.
  6. I just turned 27 and am having my sleeve done in March. I’ve had weight issues my whole life and have struggled to keep weight off in my own efforts. I don’t have any before and after pics yet, but it’s great to have other people on here in the same age range!
  7. The baby spoons sound like a really good idea! I’ll get some of those. I think I’ll also get some ramekins. Thanks for the information!
  8. Hello! I just got my surgery date in March, pending insurance approval. I’m wondering what tools/gadgets/foods/vitamins you stocked up on before hand? What did you take with you to the hospital? Thanks!
