  1. I don't know if you're a coffee drinker, But I am. I like to get my protein in by mixing a vanilla protein shake with one cup of black coffee. I poured over some ice and pretend it's iced coffee. I think the black coffee take some of that sweetness away.. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I had a few days after the surgery that I felt exactly that same way. Of course check with your care team!!!! I did some research and what I found was that your body might be in ketosis, And the start of that generally makes you feel like you have a bit of flu.. I kind of chalked my symptoms up to that and I felt much better a couple days later.. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. My skin on my face is angry. I have always tried to take care of my skin as best I could but since the surgery my face is just awful. I plan on mentioning this to my surgeon tomorrow at my post op appointment, but has anybody ever had these issues? Skin on my face is red and burning and flaking. I am moisturizing. 8. I'm telling you!! Tomorrow is a week post op, I can't even start a full liquid diet until day 10, and won't start soft foods until day 15. [emoji30] It's always so interesting to see how different doctors have different plans... I'm not physically hungry, but mentally I feel like I'm struggling with all the liquids.. 10. Hi all, I'm new here. My name is Rachel and I'm 34. I had my sleeve done 12/23. I also had a hernia repair as well. I feel very blessed that I have not had any nausea or any other major side effects. Haven't had a lot of pain at all surprisingly. My main struggles have been gas pains, burping, and a very strong tightening sensation when I swallow. I have been very tired since the surgery and find myself having to take naps during the day. Something I am not used too. But anyway just wanted to introduce myself! HW 227 SW 213 12/23/2020 CW 207 12/28/2020 Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
