  1. I am in. I need something. I have been in a funk since January! I dont know what to do. LOL. I have had 4 fills and have a next one on July 1st. Here are my goals and I need all the support I can get. Memorial Day--->5lbs 4th of July--->5lbs(10 total from today) August 11th--->5lbs(15lbs total from today) My long term goal is to be in onderland by August 11th. I can do it. I set small goals so I dont get discouraged. 15lbs in 3 months is doable.
  2. I have been at a plateau since January too! I have been bouncing back and forth 4-5lbs. It is getting depressing.....Trying not to give up but I am fed up....
  3. I didn't do so well...gaining weight....My goal was 197 and I am 205.8 this morning. Crappy......
  4. Well weightloss has been extremely slow for me, but better slow then gain. Start:205lbs current:202.4lbs Goal:197lbs I joined the gym next to my new house so I shall be going in about 10 minutes! lol!!!
  5. Glad to see that I am not the only one. Since I have moved(finally have internet again)I haven't stepped on the scale once. I think I am now afraid lol.
  6. So it is obvious. I am addicted to the scale. I have packed my scale away because I am moving actually today is the big move. I am having anxiety over how much I way. I want to know. Not having the scale at the end of my bed every morning I wake is giving me anxiety. I never realized how bad it was. After everything is moved I am going to try to keep it packed. I seem to be eating better since I am afraid of the unknown. With it laying around if I cheated, I would weigh myself a couple days after and if my cheating didn't have an effect. I would push to see how far I could take my cheating without having an effect. Anyone else experiencing this?
  7. Well I am moving next weekend and have packed everything including the scale. I havent been too good. Everything is packed so I have been eating out a lot. Making decent choices but not the best. Hopefully in 2 weeks I have lost some. Everyone else Congrats on the weight coming off!!!!
  8. Crazy week this week. Currently I am 204.0lbs. So I am done a little bit more!
  9. Good Morning Everyone!!!! Last week: 205lbs This week: 204.6lbs I am not going to lie. I did a lot of eating out and stress eating since my son had surgery this week. Still a loss so I will take it!
  10. Well My bandiversary was last week Feb 11th. I have lost 41lbs. I went from a size 20/22 to a size 14/16 in pants. Tops I went from a 2x/1x to a m/l. It is great. I am not tired anymore. I have soo much energy and onderland is right around the corner.
  11. I am in on this one! Since I missed the last ones. I have been losing slowly so I will set my goal for about 8lbs. Current: 205lbs Goal: 197lbs Good Luck Everyone!!!!
  12. a little late but better then never. I did weigh friday and i was 205.0lbs. up 0.2lbs. Not bad. Hopefully this friday it will be back down. I got caught up in valentines candy. LOL
  13. Good Morning Everyone! Thank god for my second fill and some sort of restriction! yay! Last week: 209.0 This week: 204.8 Down 4.2lbs this week!!! Hopefully next week I can maintain that.
  14. Congrats! Those are amazing stats and are an inspiration to myself and anyone else. You are amazing!
  15. Same as everyone said about depending on what your doctors says. I wasn't suppose to have coffee or limit it because caffeine dehydrates you. So I dont think decaff will have the same effect. I didn't give up coffee at all. I only drank a lg dd coffee in themorning but I just couldn't give it up. My doctor said for every 8 oz of coffee you drink you should try to drink 16oz of Water to make up for it. Allows email/call your doctor with any questions. They are there to help and guide you in the right direction. Good Luck with your Journey.
  16. Good Morning! I had surgery back in August 2008 and it wasn't a bad experience at all. Of course you will have pain in your abdomen area. It will be a little hard on getting out and down out of bed. I used a "hug" pillow to help me with that. As for being sick. I wasn't. There was no vomitting or anything. It just takes a lot out of you just like any surgery. You will need to relax and take it easy. I went back to work 4 days later but I wouldn't recommend that. As for filling your lap band has a port attached to it with a tube that hooks to the band itself. The doctor inserts a needle through your abdomen into the port to inject saline that makes the band tighter around your stomach. This limits on what you can take in and you will know what you can eat and not eat. I just had my second fill and I finally have some restriction. I am not eating much at meal times. Good Luck in your journey!
  17. I figured I would start a thread. I finally got my second fill this week. The doctor could only pull out 0.5cc and was confused on where the other 0.5cc went to so now I have a total of 1.75cc in my band. This week I am 209.0!!! Almost there to wonderland.
  18. Thats amazing!!! Good Luck with everything!
  19. I am back on Track. Yesterday morning I weighed in at 210.0lbs! About time! Plus my fill is moved up to feb 11th I am pumped for life! Good job everyone!!!!
  20. Well I started watching what I am eating this week and really being strict with my choices and I am ready to weigh in tomorrow and see if it has paid off.
  21. Thank you everyone! I read up on the 5 day pouch test and it makes sense. I am going to try it starting monday. I need a trip to the grocery store first. I will let everyone know how it works. Thanks so much for being here. I wish I had a local support group or something. Just I dont really have anyone to talk about it with. Thanks, Heather
  22. Thanks everyone! It is hard because i am starvign right after oatmeal or a fiber bar. I am starving. I am trying to squeeze exercise in. I do my videos at home. I have a gym membership and it stinks. I work 12-8 with an hour commute each way so somedays the last thing on my mind is exercise. I call everyweek to see if there is a cancellation because my doctor only does appointments on wednesdays lol. Well it is a new year and a new start. Hopefully good things come to those who wait.
  23. So I haven't posted in a long time. I am struggling 100% with this band. I have had one fill in october and that was it. I am eating a lot, but not as much as before but still alot. I lost my insurance so I haven't been able to get a fill and now that I have insurance they dont have an opening until the end of march. I hit all the way down to 210lbs but I am creepying up and I am at 216lbs now. It is very dissappointing. I am not making the best decisions in meals since I am getting depressed over my situtation. I work on my feet and move all day long. Typically I have a bagel for breakfast with NF CC. a Lean cuisine and apples for lunch and for dinner I am usually bad. I am trying but I am at wits end. I just need someone to talk to and to see if anyone else is struggling with the same thing.
  24. Good Morning everyone! Well I believe I am down another 2lbs. It is coming off slowly but it is going in the right direction. I was 211.8lbs.....
