  1. I was wondering as well about heavier bleeding due to weight loss. I'm having big problems right now as well as some cramps that i dont' recall even having when i was in high school
  2. According to my doc also 2 weeks prior to your period a woman will get more restricted the closer they get to that time.
  3. Just wondered how you have been doing on your band? I have lost 82 pounds since June 30, 2008 but was at a stand still over the last several months but i got another fill and have started slowly moving down again.
  4. If you are wanting the group that is 6 months and under its the 2nd Monday of every month 4th floor in surgery center where you do your behavior class. If your 6 months and over its the 4th Monday of every month. Look forward to seeing you. It starts at 5:30 till 7 p.m They are very good!
  5. Actually I'm post op 7 months and I still tend to be "hard headed" to see how far i can push it. It's just a mental thing you have to work through. I still have issues with the "feeling full" down in the lower part of your stomach...I don't think you will ever have that feeling again because its moved up. Just hang in there and it will come along.

I'm needing help trying to understand some things when it comes to hunger or full. I think its more emotional but i some days feel like i'm eating to much because i'm always trying to get that "FULL" feeling and it never comes. Do i need to stop eating once the hunger pains have left? Or eat till my portions are gone? I have went from 354-274 and have been sitting there since 10/15/08 and have no idea what to do to get things moving again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  10. How did your 1st fill go? I have mine on the 14th and a bit nervous aobut it
  11. Paula08, why if i may ask did you have your band removed if you were doing so well? I have just had my surgery done on 30th and hate it tremendously and wondering how to get it out now. My insurance approved my surgery so i had a small copay but i have been nauseated ever since 24/7. I feel fine when i first wake up but once i start drinking protein drinks then i feel that way all day long till i wake up next morning. Doc told me to take malox and that doesn't help. I have my first appt. w/him on 8th and we will talk then. I called him over the weekend and he says this is normal and it comes with it but i'm barely getting 20 grams of protein in and 200 caloires per day and have no energy and very depressed. hope to hear from you son.
  12. Sportscar, My doc has me still on full liquids but i was hungry and everyone was eating kfc so i indulged. Now today gas isn't so bad but i have diarheaa....boy this is fun!!!! I hope this all subsides before i go back to work next wednesday. Did you ever notice how many tv commercials are about food? UGH!!!!!!!! I don't even get creamy soups so lucky you.....if i did i would be in hog heaven with broccoli/cheese soup Yummmm!! Hadn't thought though about cream corn would love that one too! Keep me posted on how things are going and don't forget your Water...drink your water that should help w/salt from foods. Keep pushin!!! We are going to make it!!!!!!!
  13. Sportscar, How are you doing on your foods? I have been nauseated every time i eat or should i say dirnk. i even cut it down to 4oz. this morning was first morning 6th day, that my stomach wasn't upset but i'm just not starting to drink breakfast and taking slips slowly and far between. just wondering if you had any of that? Also still belching alot of the gas, do you still have that? Hope things are going well for you!
  14. This morning is the first morning i haven't felt horrible or nauseated but i just now drinking my breakfast. i had pureed food yesterday, 1/4 c. mashed pot./gravy from kfc but was to scared to eat anymore and my stomach still didn't feel good. Hoping that was just a wave and that it might be over. i have to keep the bigger picture in my mind or else this isn't going to work for me. and i need to get the idea out of my head that this will last forever cause i'm sure it won't. thansks for your post though and keep up the good work. have been told it takes 2-3 fills to get the "fullness" feeling right so hang in there!!
  15. I would just tell them alot of hard work and determination. Just cause we are banded doesnt' me its not going to work for us, we still have to exercise and pay attention to what we are putting in our mouths. Just like anyone else!
