I have noticed that I "guard" my belly and have had some back muscle aches from remaining tense. but tylenol helps those as well as repositioning. Hope you feel better
Good luck deciding. Another factor to consider is weight loss retention. Many have lost weight successfully on their own without surgery yet gained it back (or more in my case).
SF popsicles, SF greek yogurt, SF jello, SF pudding, ricotta cheese with cocoa powder or peanut butter and sweetener, SF hot chocolate, protein cheesecake. try bariatric foodie for recipes. not sure what diet you are on but good luck!
I found some recipes on bariatric foodie and bariatric bits websites that look pretty good. I am currently on my last day of liquids so tomorrow I get to transition to "mushy" food good luck!
I also went into my initial consult wanting the sleeve. My surgeon reviewed all three options that he offered, sleeve, RNY and DS. He advised that he felt I would get and retain the results I wanted with the DS however the choice would be mine ultimately to make. I did end up going with DS however he asked me even the day of surgery if I was still okay with my choice. I would speak to your surgeon about your concerns. These are elective procedures and the choice is yours
