OMG! I'm having such a hard time!! It's just not normal NOT to eat!!! :cursing:I just finshed my 1st wk of shakes & 2 more to go!!! How am I gonna do this? :tongue: I am So hungry. not head hunger, hunger hunger.

Hi! I was nevous about this too. I was about 38 BMI, 215 lbs, 5' 2 no comorbids. I have BC/BS n.h. Got approved in a wk NO PROBLEMS!

lol! My girls are the same way. I can't find anything to fit them in the waiste. wish i had that problem !!! My 3 yr old weighs the same as my 2yr. old! she's a peanut! :cursing:

The whole process went quickly for me because I found out what I had to do & did it all quickly. Call your ins. tell them what your doing & ask them what you need to do next. Usually after that you go to you PMC & talk to them & they talk to your ins. find a surgen {I found mine right on here} go to info seminar your surgen gives meet w/ surgen & they will help from there! HOPE THIS HELPS!! :thumbup:

Hi there! I have bcbs of Mass. I have heard they are one of the easiest for getting approved & fastest! I had NO problems they approved mine in about a week :thumbup: I've heard of some only waiting a day! I had No medical issues either. You need to be about 100 lbs over weight {by the charts the dr use}. good luck! If you have any ?? let me know! :drool:

Of course! everyones nervous! You wouldn't be human if you weren't :-) I would start thinking about it & get myself saying " what if ". I just couldn't over think it lol! I did have about 2 days when i said I don't need surgery to do this/ then I realized YES I do! I have gained & lost 100's of pounds in my life. This is the best thing I've ever done!:drool:

I feel your pain. I was banded just sept 25th. I'm having a hard time seeing everyone eat around me. I just wanna smack em up side the head!! lol! I hear of a lot of people feeling this way right after. You have a new life to look forward to! The weight loss will make you feel better! I've already lost 12 lbs! the starving for a while will be worth it lol! Hang in!!

Hi everyone!! I got my band sept 25th!!! The pain wasn't much for me at all the first few days. My port area is hurting now though for some reason. I thought it would get better not worse. :thumbup: Over all I'm doing well. Hating the shake stage! The weight loss is really keeping me going! :drool: I've lost 12 lbs so far including 1 wk post op! :cool2: Keep up the good work all!!!

I think I've done well w/ pain too. I don't have gas pain just been passing a lot :thumbdown:. My belly... by where my port is {I think} is where I am starting to hurt now. Only if I bend over or get up. I am really getting hungry & having hunger pains now. Dealing w/ head hunger too. My head actually feels dizzy & cloudy today. odd, I don't know why it's just happening now.???? I'm down 12 lbs today!!!! :drool::thumbup::thumbup: including my wk pre op diet. That's enough to keep me going!! I'm so glad I did this. I can't believe I'm actually gonna be thin again!!!!!!! :crying: Hang in there everyone! We'll do this together!!!! :cursing:

Oh girl we had the same night!!! :cursing: Since I didn't cook last night my hubby brought home pizza slices for my girls, a steak & chesse sub & french fries for him!!! :crying: Then my MIL gave them all apple pie! It smelled so good!!!!!! I have been REALLY hungry too. :frown: Wouldn't you know Iam the only one w/ a weight problem. I know they were just eating but it seemed like they were trying o torture me lol!!! :thumbdown: Sorry I just listed all that food. :drool: BUT it's NOT good for us anyway RIGHT!!

I totally understand what your saying. In her defense she just had surgery & maybe she's not up to doing much yet. :biggrin: Mc'd's is ok once in awhile. I'm sure she doesn't give it to her kids on a regular basis. :dita: I had my surgery the same day as her & I have three little ones all under 6yrs old. As, you can imagine it's not easy. :tongue: Please understand I am not trying to be fresh in anyway. I'm just seeing her side too. :-)

Hey everyone! I was banded sept 25th!! I'm down 10 lbs including wk pre op :-) pains not so bad. I have MAJOR GAS (from below), diarea & some gas pressure in chest. That's about it. I find myself already wanting food & getting hungry. The "head hunger" is here too.

Ok, my surgery went well & I came home last night. :thumbup:Pretty sore but the gas isn't really buggibg me which is good. Can't wait to start feeling better & lose this weight! :thumbup: Still very tired. ttyl!

Ok I have to be there at 6 AM!!! I'm glad it's early. I'm nervous!!! :girl_hug: I just can't think too much lol! How bad was the gas pain? That's what I'm worried about. When i had my tubes tied i remember it was bad. I'm off!!!! :thumbup:
