  1. I was in the hospital for 3 nights. No visitors (due to Covid) but I felt awful so kinda glad I didn’t get company.
  2. My insurance never approved me. I had to take money out of my retirement but to me it was worth it.
  3. I had surgery June 4. I told some family and close friends about my decision. I haven’t told many others. They just see me losing weight. Surround yourself with people who support you. You know what is best for your body.
  4. I had RNY on June 4 and I’m feeling pretty good. I still have some pain because I was cut deeper than usual due to a previous surgery in the same area. I am down 41 pounds. And am just taking it one day at a time.
  5. Hi Mike, I’m Andrea from South Florida. 2 months post op from RNY bypass surgery.
  6. I had the fundiplocation surgery in 2006. I had gastric bypass surgery in June. The surgeon chose bypass over the sleeve because of the previous surgery. I hope you’re feeling better soon.
  7. Im 2 months out also. I weigh in weekly. The first month I lost 4-5 pounds a week. Now averaging 2-3 a week.
  8. I was one of the people that needed longer to heal after bypass surgery. I was absolutely miserable and the pain on my left side where I was cut shill hurts today. When I asked the doctor about it he said the famous line that everyone heals differently. Best of luck to you.
  9. Glad I’m not alone. I guess we just have to just keep trying.
  10. 2 months post op. Still having difficulty drinking my 64oz of water. Any suggestions? Does it get easier?
