I'm supposed to take gabapentin 2 times a day for 7 days. Has anyone followed that regimen? I'm trying to not take medicine if not needed like Tylenol. Should I still take gabapentin? Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app

Ok so surgery went well for me. I just had to learn to sip slowly or you will get the throwing up feeling but nothing will come out. I stayed in the hospital overnight. I was originally told no one would be able to go with me on the floor but that wasn't the case. My husband stayed with me for almost two hours. He then came back when I was on the floor. Visiting hours were 2 to 6. He stayed for a little bit but let me rest. I was able to walk to the bathroom by myself several times. Overall not a bad surgery. My surgery is on the 26th. My hospital informed me that who ever comes with me will have to stay in the lobby during my surgery and only can visit me for a little bit while I'm at recovery.
