  1. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] we always say output is so ugly it's cute.... so maybe your bum is cute too!
  2. How soon are you?? I've lost my boobs too lol. I've been shifting my seating to one side of my flat bum at a time but it's causing sciatica pain... the struggle lol
  3. I hear you!! I went from a 40 G to now 34b in just 9 months! I'm thinking of plastic surgery too but planning on waiting until next summer since I hear if you get plastic and keep losing it's not good. Your bum looks awesome
  4. Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I last posted. I'm 9m post op and 90 pds down (225 now 135). I'm wearing a size 4 pant and xs tops... but... I've completely lost my bum... even at my smallest, I had a bum.. Is this common?? I'm squatting but my bum is still flopping down Advice needed!
  5. A friend asked me the same thing about my weightloss!!! Weird how weightloss =sickness
  6. 226 now down to 160. I'm losing hair by the handful and had to chop off 4 inches yesterday due to it p Looking so thin! I'm taking biotin daily but dr said low B12 and iron can cause hair loss too so I've upped that too. I haven't been to the gym yet as it's been closed and my surgeon recommended waiting until 6m after surgery to start working out. Since I'm 5pds away from his goal weight for me he's advised against cardio now and to only do strengthening exercises but still wait until 6 month's post surgery.
  7. 4 months out. 1. Always cold... I used to keep the heat at 18C ... now it's usually at 21C 2. 67pds down I'm now having to buy new stretchy pants since the old ones are huge on me 3. I'm losing my bum completely... I always thought I was one of those girls who had a Kim K bum naturally... I guess only when I'm overweight. 4. Dark circles are my trademark look. I never had them before but I guess being low on nutrients means dark circles 5. Gatorade and ice cold water go down the easiest. 6. My knees hurt if I don't cuddle a pillow
  8. How are all my Sept 2020 friends doing? My surgeon says I'm reaching his goal too quickly and I need to start bringing up my calories. I've lost 67pds since my surgery Sept 29th and am now 160. (His goal for me was 150).
  9. Im 3.5 months out and although I've never in my life been able to burp loudly there's a constant gurgling sound after I eat or drink now. My surgeon said it can last up to a yr and it's my new stomach learning to push out air.. i don't have any wind at all though
  10. I was thinking of making a charcuterie board for Christmas. It will definitely have chunks of turkey but what meats and cheese do you suggest adding that are bariatric friendly?
  11. Well blood tests came back and dr told me I'm anemic. I started on my Iron supplements today with the hopes that it's up by January.
  12. Anyone know if I can eat a chicken salad? I'm 8 weeks out and looking to add variety to my dining choices. I'm so tired of focusing just on protein that it's not becoming repetitive!
  13. Im not taking any Iron.. I may need to start because I agree that this was something my daughter used to get when her iron levels we're low. We'd increase her tuna consumption and it would help but with this surgery I don't know if that would be enough.
  14. How long until they went away?? I've gotten myself some correcting makeup and a script for blood work but I've never looked worst! Plus I've only lost 40 pds so it's not that drastic yet!
  15. Ive lost nearly 40pds since my Sept 29th surgery but still wear my clothes from pre-surgery. They're getting baggier but it's Covid and we're all working from home here so no way am I spending money until I desperately have to!
  16. I normally use it and have seen some inconsistencies but im only tracking Carbs, Protein and Calories so I just double check those and add them myself. If I eat the same thing again I just get it from my recent
  17. Got RNY 7 weeks ago. Lost 35pds so far but I've been noticing these crazy dark underwear circles lately. Is this a common side effect? I'm not getting 1.5 lt of water regularly since getting liquids down is a huge challenge but am getting my 65g of protein.
  18. We have some friends coming over and I'm usually in charge of the charcuterie board. What gastric bypass friendly cheeses and cured meats should I include? I'm 6 week post op and would like to enjoy a bit.
  19. I think it's a combo of grease/fat and sugar. I did use sweet and sour sauce on my chicken ball... and of course its deep fried. Other than that it's going good. I find the hardest part is not going for drinks/apps with my friends. I miss the social eating and right now because of Covid that's our only option for socialism. The first couple weeks are just liquids so not bad but after that I think meal planning has been saving my sanity... if I don't meal plan I instantly miss my old ways of constant take out.
  20. I've felt super full before and have thrown up a bit but this was my first time fully dumping. I got all the symptoms *tmi* i was sitting on the toilet with diarrhea while throwing up in the trash can. Shakes, flushed, heart rate at 135. All this because I ate 1 sweet and sour chicken ball and a egg roll. I feel like death.
  21. Im 6 weeks post op and have only been able to hit my 65 g of protein by eating 5-600 calories
  22. I lifted my daughter from day 5 on. She's 4 and 36pds. She was able to climb up on the car and climb up in her carseat but it took for ever... I'm impatient so I just did it.
  23. 6 weeks post op (30pds down) and I've only taken pain killers 2x total for my joint pain. I used to take pain killers 3x a day and dr was considering cortisone shots.
  24. I'm down 25pds and went from a sz 16 to 12. Thankfully I had saved old clothing from my "skinny" days. I spend most of my work days at home in leggings though so I don't think that my size in those will change for awhile.
  25. I had my surgery 9/29/20 and had chilli from wendys this week (week 3) my dr suggested it since all the other bland food I'm eating literally make me sick.
