You looked fabulous! How was the date???????
  2. I am 47. I can’t imagine not having boobs for the rest of my life.
  3. First of all, I want to share some stats/background. I am 47 years old (46 at time of WLS). I was 264 at my highest weight, which is also my weight before starting the pre-op diet. I was a plus size 20-22 in jeans, and a 2X in tops. My surgery date was 7/6/20. I reached my chosen goal weight of 150 on 2/26/21. My current weight is 132. I wear a S/XS in tops and a 0 or 2 in most pants/jeans. I am pretty tall at 5’8”. My bra size went from 40DD to a 34B. I love my new body, being the fittest in my adult life, and being healthy. With that being said, I really miss having boobs. The loose skin on my butt folds uncomfortably under my tailbone when I sit or lay down. My tummy flops around unless I am wearing something tight or with compression. My legs are very saggy. I am scheduled for plastic surgery in Mexico on 5/29. I am going to get a belt lipectomy (360 tummy tuck), with butt lift, a breast lift, and breast augmentation. I am hopeful the belt lipectomy and time will make a thigh lift unnecessary in the future, but we will see. I really do not want the scars. My arms have a bit of loose skin, but not enough to make an arm lift necessary, IMO. I chose Mexico for price and proximity. I know Florida is better priced for plastic surgery than most, if not all, of the rest of the US, but I really do not want to travel that far (Nevada). I will be going alone and I will be there for 6 days. When I get home, I have my family to help take care of me, including my wound care nurse husband. I am super excited for this next step in my weight loss process and honestly can’t wait to have boobs again! ? I have added some pics of pre-WLS (yikes?), and now, pre-plastics. I will post more as I as go, including after photos. ??
  4. I agree with @Arabesque. Get a good, professional bra fitting. I never thought I would get breast augmentation, but I get my new boobs in less than a week. I went from a 40DD to an empty, deflated, 34B. It is shocking to go from having fairly large breasts to empty sacks of skin hanging from my chest. If I only get a lift, once they take out the extra skin, I will be an A cup. I want some curves back, so breast augmentation for me.

Maybe not every single day ?, but here is today’s grocery shopping in the rain look. ?

@Arabesque and @ms.sss, thank you! ?? ☺️☺️ I am so in love with finding clothes that fit this new body of mine (completely self absorbed, I know ??). Apparently I did well with the jeans ?? @Arabesque, those flip flops are awesome! Sounds like a good time, and now you have perfect, (IMO) shoes for walking on the beach ? I would love to leave a visible trail of f-bombs to compliment the ones coming out of my mouth. Hahahaha
  7. Exercise. I started with walking pretty much immediately after surgery and have progressed to running, weight training, HIIT, etc. I believe it has made all the difference in my physical and mental well being. I am happy and healthy. ☺️

Taking our amazing next door neighbors to dinner tonight. It is unseasonably cold with snow flurries. Wearing some new size 0 jeans which I would like to dedicate to @ms.sss. They fit, even by your standards! ???
  9. WishMeSmaller replied to sillykitty's topic in The Lounge
@ms.sss clearly the answer is D which means E as @GreenTealael mentioned? Glad you are back and I ❤️❤️ the lounging by the pool pic! @ms.sss I love those shoes. Please buy them and post lots of pics of them! Also, leg is healing well...thanks for checking. ?
  10. So sorry this happened to you! It sounds awful. Hopefully the stone has passed and you will not require any intervention. I am surprised they did not remove your gall bladder with higher liver function tests and bilirubin. I hope all goes well for you! ??

Surgery is 5/29. I am getting a lower body lift with breast lift/augmentation. I was supposed to have some lipo and fat transfer to butt, but I don’t think there is enough fat left on me to make the extra healing and cost worth it at this point. Will discuss with the surgeon at pre-op I guess. ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

Love the shoes...and the top...and the curves! ? I will post all about my plastics, probably next weekend. I am supposed to have some lipo to get some fat for my butt, but I honestly don’t know where they are going to take it from. ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ The only real fat pad I have left is the center area of my abdomen. Definitely skinny girl problems ?????

I’m jelly of everyone’s curves and hour glass figures ??? Less than two weeks and I will have boobs again though. ? If I don’t get a waist or curvy hips/butt, at least I will have legs and boobs ?????
  14. I have never poached salmon in milk (immediately added to list of things to try). This salmon was poached in dry white wine and lemon juice with capers and dill. I usually bake or cedar plank my salmon to avoid the lingering fish smell, but poaching is another good option. Husband no longer lets me sear scallops in the house because of the smell. I have to use the burner on the outdoor grill. P.S. I always have the skin removed prior to cooking to reduce the oil in the fish. Also, I hate the flavor of salmon skin.

So much freaky! Even more freaky, I put the pants on yesterday after washing them and now wonder if I should have gotten the 00. ?‍♀️ I really hope my fat resettles in my face...but it never seems to go where I want it to. ?. Anyhow, I am less than two weeks from plastic surgery, so everything might change...again. ??‍♀️??‍♀️ Part of the reason I like the above jeans, is I think they make my legs look long ? Not that my legs are short to start with, but I love the long, lean look. Good thing I guess, since I have zero curves right now??

I have the same feelings. I feel excited about losing weight (after years of struggle), but bad about it as well because I am only about 10 pounds from slipping into a low BMI (<18.5). I want to be healthy, not anorexic. I know most people have weight rebound, so I have been planning for that, but I have a pretty healthy cushion at this point. ?‍♀️ Working on changing up my diet and exercise routine right now to try to find maintenance.

Never, ever, in a 100 million years, did I think I would be buying size 0 pants, which I did this weekend. Nor did I ever think I would struggle to stop losing weight. It is insane and definitely messing with my head. It is so scary to think about gaining weight, but I would benefit from a few extra pounds now. ??? The jeans are super soft and soooo comfortable, except for the part where they start to fall off without a belt cinching them up. ??

Running errands today. My size 4 jeans are too big, but work just fine with a belt. Seriously trying to stop losing weight so I don’t have to buy another whole wardrobe in smaller sizes. ?
  19. Poached salmon with creamy, lemon, dill sauce, and lemon slaw. Not shown: ice cream for dessert ?

Cute dress! I now have another place to obsessively online shop ??‍♀️?
  21. I ❤️ that you left at least one bite of each thing! ?
  22. Oh, goodness. This is a tough topic for me. I think I mostly avoid thinking about how my history contributed into shaping me as a morbidly obese person. My entire family, including extended family, does not have obese people...definitely some overweight individuals in the family, but not morbidly obese. Except me. My mother has always been normal BMI and my dad is a very fitness conscious person. He is overweight right now, but works out regularly, at 80 years old. I am not ready to dig into this topic today, and maybe not ever, but my heart goes out to you. WLS is for you, for your health, and not to appease your family. Your family will likely feel proud of your weight loss and make comments. Let that be about them and not you. Wishing you all the best! ??

Love this look on you! ???
  24. It is totally safe to take softeners with miralax. I would start with both and see how it goes. Also, Miralax doesn’t work for everyone. Be open to trying different stuff until you find the mix that works for you. Hope it all works out! ??
