Hi, just wondered where else can I buy the Vitamin patches? I've ordered through Bariatric pal on my last 2 orders, I usually get the Sleeve Vitamin Patch Pack 3 by PatchAid, but now they have been out of stock and don't know when they will be in. Even though I was set up on a automatic delivery. Crazy to me. So hoping I could find a back up brand. Thanks

Good morning, Sorry for the long post.. But I think I'm gonna need some support here, my plane takes off tomorrow and my surgery is the next day. I am so getting nervous and jittery about the surgery and the new life that is about to begin. I sat there thinking last night that maybe i should just postpone this and wait and see how i feel later on. But I know I would be chickening out which is so unlike me and just making excuses like (I'm not that heavy, I still fit into my clothes (only because I had to keep buying bigger sizes), I can control my eating (so I'll just start exercising a lot more), Everyone loves me for who I am (but I have to Love myself too), I lost 11pounds so far on pre op so why can't I keep going and keep it off. And up to this point I have been strong and encouraged and very focused on this journey. So now I'm trying to talk/think myself out of it, Thanks for listening and any encouraging words would be much appreciated

Oh my gosh, I'm feeling the same way right now, this is my last day working and tomorrow I board the plane and have surgery the next day. So, my stomach is doing all sorts of things and this is minor compared to what my mind is doing. But we'll get through this, there is a reason for it and it's why we are all here.

How are you doing Sweetsmith78 ? Been thinking about you, hope you're doing better :) I'm getting to leave July 3rd for surgery on the 4th at Hospital BC with Dr Illian and with your story it's making me nervous :(

So sorry you had/have to go through this That sounds like a total nightmare! Glad you made it back and went in to see whats going on. Get well soon and I hope the rest is the best for you

I am experiencing the panic today, surgery is set for July 4th. I've been great up until now, probably because my Pre-op started on Saturday. And now my mind and belly is telling me " think twice about this" Just trying to calm my nerves here, the people have been awesome !!

It's a whole lot better today, don't feel the flu symptoms as much, but I think it's gonna be a long 2 weeks . But totally worth it in the end No pain since I don't have my VGS surgery till July 4th, who knows maybe I'll get lucky and I won't feel any pain then too. lol.

It's so nice to get hints and tips on here. I know if it wasn't for this site I might not be making this huge step for a better life !

So know I'm only on day 2 and its tough But we have each other to whine too

Just scheduled my Sleeve for July 4th with Dr Ilian at Hospital BC Yay !!

Im a little confused, is it Bariatric Pal Hospital or Hospital BC? I have heard that it is referenced as both names. If I have acid reflux is it ok to have the Gastric Sleeve or would I need the Gastric Bypass? Thank you Tammy Weller
