  1. I’m 3 day post op and had a hiatal hernia repair too and I’m beyond miserable. I’m so happy to read you turned a corner. Gives me hope! I know we’ll be ok eventually but dang this is worse than I expected.
  2. Only one night in the Hospital. Day 2 was better than day 1 as far as the dry heaving. That stopped once I discovered to stop eating ice chips. My sleeve does not like cold things. Only vomited once last night so that’s improved. I still feel worse than I expected but I also had a hiatal hernia repair.
  3. Still feeling pretty crappy. It’s day 3 now. Still have a lot of nausea and dry heaving.
  4. I’m ready to go! I was a little nervous last night but feel good now. Surgery in 30 minutes!!!!
  5. My go to shake is fairlife nutrition plan. It tastes the best (to me).
  6. Absolutely amazing! Thanks for sharing your pics. That’s really inspiring for me especially since we have similar build/age etc. I started saving for plastics when I decided to have the surgery almost a year ago. I was approved in December but due to the surgeons schedule I couldn’t in until March and then was on my liquid diet and covid derailed everyone. But not looking back, only forward!
  7. Our stats are almost identical! I’m 48, BMI 41, and I’m 5’1; this is exactly what I was hoping for! I’ve seen some charts that just don’t seem realistic. May I ask if you had the bypass or sleeve?
  8. I’m also choosing my goal weight based on BMI. I’m short so mine is 132 to be normal. Honestly I’m really looking forward to even 150!
  9. What was your weight loss after 6 months and what was you starting weight? Trying to work at setting a realistic goal.
  10. I love fairlife nutrition plan!
  11. Surgery scheduled for March 24th cancelled due to coronavirus:(
  12. My pre op Liquid diet is 1 week. 6 days of Protein shakes and water, 1 day of clear liquids and 32oz of regular sugar Gatorade No protein and no solids. And then nothing by mouth after midnight the night before surgery.
  13. Thanks I didn’t know there was a post op thread. I will check that out!
  14. I had my pre op visit today. I have to do one week of liquids pre op and can’t have even soft, solid soft foods until 9 weeks. I’m talking cottage cheese and scrambled eggs. Is that normal? The nurse said my doc is very conservative but dang!
  15. March 24th! 31 days to go. I’m so excited you’d think I was going on vacation instead of having surgery!!!
