Someone at work finally asked me if I was loosing weight. I’m six weeks in and down from surgery weight of 289 to today 267 (started at 308) So much more to go, but little by little. I need to give up my cheese stick!!! (Which I eat to get my calories up and protein in. Who ever would have guessed ild have that problem!!)

Today I was finally able to take off my wedding rings!! It is the first time in 3 years I’ve been able to do so. Best non scale victory!! Thank goodness my marriage has held together. ??

Sleeved 1/28. And I still get very sharp pains that come and go (with movement) near the big dented incision. Anyone else experience this too??

Had my sleeve in 1/28. So I’m on day 4 post opp. Was finally able to drink a whole protein shake. Took me an hour but I did it. I made the mistake of weighing myself and I’m up 15 pounds from Tuesday. I’m walking to get rid of the gas they pump us with but man—when you are sore and the scale goes up it’s frustrating!

Had my VSG surgery in the 28th. Came home last night. I have a lot of pain now. I walked and walked at the hospital and have been walking in circles here at home. I seem to have the hiccups constant now. Anyone else have hiccups??

Also—I’m stressing over the hospital stay. How long (fellow VSGs) did you have to stay in the hospital???

Question—my surgery (VSG) is Tuesday. For the 8 days pre Op I’ve been blending a handful of ice cubes with premier protein shakes ( so it’s like a milkshake) Will I be able to do this after Tuesday as well!??

Only my husband knows. I haven’t even told my teen son. I’ve had one in a million health issue i was born with and have only told my husband. Of course my parents knew and told everyone this side of the U.S. lol. It took me years to “forgive” them for sharing my private health problems (diagnosed at 16). Hence, with my sleeve surgery coming up next week—no one but my husband and I will know!

Day 3 of my pre-surgery liquid diet. I probably shouldn’t have weighed myself but this chunky gal is down 5 pounds already doing just this. That means the sleeve is gonna be awesome!! 1/28 is surgery day and I’m so excited I can’t sleep.

My surgery date is 1/28/20. I’m scared and excited for the sleeve. 8 day liquid pre- op diet starts in 2 days.
