  1. Best of luck. It’s the best decision I ever made!
  2. Thank you! First, I saw my surgeon, had my labs checked, saw a bariatric CBT psychologist and made a nutritionist appointment for Jan 7th. I’m reestablishing a support team and then going to see what changes I should make. I know my first two important steps will be logging my food and adding in regular exercise.
  3. I just heard about this forum from my doctor, so I joined and wanted to introduce myself. I had my RNY nine and a half years ago. I heard about regain, but said, "That won't happen to me." For 6 years, I was logging my food, exercising regularly and weighing myself to stay close to my target weight. On July 3, 2016, I went for a run in the morning and got married that afternoon in a fabulous NYC wedding! Then, it all slipped away.... I was on a high! I ate and drank through Europe on an amazing two week honeymoon. Came back to more parties and celebrations and no exercise. Over the last three and a half years, my new normal changed so much. I recently stepped on the scale and BAM! I have gained close to 30 pounds! I'm in shock. I know I'll lose it, but its a reminder that I have to be very careful every.single.day. It's too easy to get caught up and undo years of hardwork. I’m happy to have found a new place for support and accountability and look forward to making new connections!
  4. I too order from the regular menu and take home the leftovers for the next day’s meals.
  5. Every once in awhile I miss Pepsi.
  6. Congratulations! What a great success story!
