  1. May I ask you how long have been on this bariatric multivitamin and if your vitamin D levels have spiked? I ask because this tablet is the only bariatric multivitamin in my country but it seems to have a pretty high dose of vitamin D (3000IU).
  2. I'm worried I'm eating too much. I'm eating around 800-900 calories
  3. No, the experience is not that similar. Because with the sleeve, you're far less likely to suffer from dumping syndrome. But thanks for your input.
  4. I was never at risk of ruining my surgery because I'm not having cravings. And I was never rude to anyone.
  5. Apparently I am. But I'm also worried I'll never stop being so nauseous around food in general. Especially the foods I once liked. But thanks for your support.
  6. I also want to ask If I was ever going to be able to eat sushi again. Or Chinese food. I ask because I'm one-month post-op and there are veggies I don't even tolerate yet.
  7. I had bypass surgery on the 13th, it's gonna be three weeks now. My incisions are healing well, I feel dizzy sometimes when I get up, and I have only thrown up one day. I had no gas pain after surgery either.
  8. It happened around 8 months post-op. I don't remember much else really
  9. She just passed out for no reason, out of the blue during work hours
  10. this happened to a friend who had the sleeve and now I'm worried it will happen to me after bypass surgery.
  11. damn... I didn't know this. Today I'm feeling much better though. I have to take it easy for now on.
  12. I'm in puree stage and yesterday I tried some carrots and since then my throat makes sounds after i drink and i can no longer drink as much. What can i do to make myself feel better? Do i need to go to the ER? Please don't tell me that I have to go to the ER
  13. 10 days post-op and I'm still hungry. I can't eat the amount I used to eat before, not that i've tried either, but omg I'm starving all the time! i this normal? ps: I'm still in my liquid diet
  14. I'm 2 days post op and I would like to know the range of ml i can drink in one go, because i'm just too scared to try for myself
  15. Xenical (orlistat) blocks some of the fat that you eat, keeping it from being absorbed by your body. I'm in my third day pre-op and I ate things I shouldn't have yesterday because I was hungry. I have my surgery tomorrowl. I've lost 10 pounds since the whole process so I won't worry about gaining weight. But the problem is that xenical makes your stool loose. I have this silly worry that when they operate on me, they won't be able to do it well because the stool in my intestine is loose and therefor have complications. (Is this a dumb thing to worry about?)
  16. Mine is a clear liquid diet for three days + milk. I'm in my second day and honestly I'm so hungry. I was losing weight prior to surgery but with the amount of milk I'm drinking I've been stuck on the same weight these 3 days. I prefer to eat a tuna salad that actually fills me up at lunch, than a carton of milk that does nothing for my appetite. But I know I have to stick with doctors' orders. But it sucks.
