Just met with my surgical team -- they said that dehydration was the most common problem they have to deal with. Get a timer, drink those fluids!!!!!

Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk. Also try GasX or charcoal supplements (smashed up of course). My understanding is that you have to walk a lot. Also, what I've been reading is that they pump you up with gas during the surgery. You got to get it out. Good to know that you are well!

Yeah, that's generally true for most urban hospitals, but if you have someone there with you, they can keep your stuff....

Trust, it's not as bad as you may think. I'm still hoping for March 17th, but it may be pushed to the 18th. I met with the surgical team this morning and the hospital is trying to get their scheduling together.

Best wishes for all of the March 10th folk today!!!!! Just met with part of the surgical team; the main guy is probably in surgery right now. Vitals were really good; officially down 24# since starting with this journey; 29# from my highest weight posted here and 32# from my highest weight. BP looking very good. Next to the dentist to get this cap and then to kidney specialist for labs. My surgery is tentative scheduled for March 17th, but may move to March 18th (some hospital schedule crap stuff), but I'm moving full steam ahead.

Surgery twin! I had to do 14 days and I started 2 days early. Day 9...

Hey.... all of y'all will ROCK IT THIS WEEK! Keep the faith!

It never fails. Whenever I'm set to be out of the office for an extended amount of time, everybody wants everything all at once! Ugh. Anyway, my pre-op with my surgeon got moved up -- to TOMORROW morning, so there goes meetings I had scheduled for tomorrow. Also tomorrow, getting my tooth capped and cleaned and getting some more blood work done by my kidney specialist. Picking up my sis from the airport on Wednesday and then back to work later, and Thursday. Friday until April, I.am.OFF. I'm too busy to be nervous, but I bet by Sunday, I will be like the rest of you -- can't sleep, rethinking my life decisions, etc....?

Drink more water and popsicle it out. I'm in week 2 and I had to make sure I got the liquids in today.

Are you drinking your fluids?

I'm sorry that your support is lacking. I think it's normal to go back and forth, but try not to sabotage yourself. Do you have anyone who can help you post-op with your children?

Yay Kristal! Thanks for checking in! I couldn't tell you what the pain is, but I would imagine that it's related to the incisions -- I know for me, sometimes I get pain in other areas than the main area. I was thinking about getting a bariatric girdle (it's not called that, but I can't remember the name) to help hold my gut in, but they told me that I didn't really need anything like that. We shall see....
