Weight stall
This is completely normal. My first stall lasted 3 weeks. Then I realized my weight loss cycle was to expect a stall every 2 weeks. I had to look at the total weight lost during the month. To keep from becoming discouraged, I weighed once per week. I had surgery Feb 2020 and my average weight loss now is approx 7 pounds a month.

Question for vets
How long does the restriction period last?I’m 2 months out and afraid the restriction won’t last long. I follow my The plan was advised. When did you start feeling like your restriction was not as effective as when you first had surgery.

Just a recap.. sleeved, 2/27, SW 243, CW 226, 17 pounds lost. Here’s my problem. My insurance provides all vitamins through a company called Nascobal. All of their vitamins are fruit flavored chewables except for the B12 nasal spray. I can no longer stomach them and gag every time I take them. It wasn’t a problem in the beginning. It’s definitely a different story now. Anyone else having issues with their vitamins?- February 2020 Post-Op Thread

- February Surgery ?
Good luck... 5 am will be here before you know it- February 2020 Post-Op Thread
My sleeve was complete on the 27th, released 2 days later due to severe spasms when drinking. My surgeon did not want to release me from fear of dehydration. I'm finally home now, today is my last day of clear liquids. Full liquids during next 16 days then progress to soft foods. I still struggle to get in 96 ounces of liquids. The surgeon repaired a hernia that he said would've been bad if not repaired. Blended vegetable soup is on my list of full liquids. Does anyone have any blended soup recipes? I don’t have a blender but willing to purchase one. Also, please share what has gotten you through this stage. I'm not hungry per se but I'm ready for the change in foods.- February Surgery ?

So happy to hear everyone is recovering successfully. Any tips on the pre op diet? I am having such a hard time sticking to it. I can have broth, shakes, sugar free jello and popsicles.- Liquid diet struggles
I just posted on this. First 2 days, Thursday and yesterday (Valentines Day) was a wash. Today is better except for 3 slices of sandwich ham. I feel like I’m starving but pushing through. You can do it. I’ve read many posts where people have cheated and still had surgery. Not that I’m saying that you will but it happens.
