  10. Don't believe her loriely, I'm sure she just sits there and looks pretty:hungry: .........with her knife and fork.:biggrin1: lol
  11. Hi Taymac! Welcome! My experience is with Dr. Cobourn. I LOVE him, he is a awesome docter. I totally agree with irishmist and yoda on the fill thing. I live north of Toronto, but have only had to drive to the clinic a few times. Again, I agree with the others, I would get banded again in a second!!!!!! I only told my immediate family about my banding. I didnt want to tell anyone else before in case of negative feedback in the form of "just trying to help". Now that it is done, I don't care who knows.
  12. Jude, you deserve to eat what you want on your birthday! Yoda, what spices did you add to your pasta and tomato dish?
  13. have a good flight, mandi
  14. No info for you tagger, but best wishes on your upcoming surgery!
  15. CLOE replied to Morsaille's topic in Rants & Raves
It's hard to be forgiving, I know, not only are there newbies to the band but, newbies to the computer too..............(me, for instance):phanvan but I'm getting better.
  16. Your absolutley right Leila, if it dosent help than it's a hinder. We'll do another challenge later and you can jump on board then!! For the most part, I'm a very visual person, hence the tickers, I need it in my face, glaring at me, so far so good. Have a great day!!!!
  17. I have come to the conclusion that I have a very boring dietary life. Keep them coming, great ideas here!!!!!
  18. Lordy, your gonna watch it:puke: .:faint:
  19. Don't worry Road Queen, thanks for visiting!! And your recipe sounds great!!
  20. This might seem like a real stupid thread, I'm not sure. But I have noticed that I always seem to eat the same dozen things over and over. I think it would be interesting for anyone who wants to, to post simply what we ate today. It dosent have to be great detail, but it might arise some new ideas for those of us that can't seem to figure out what to eat. And if it is really cool, we can post the recipe so we can all enjoy it. So I would start except I had take out tonight for dinner:rolleyes: ...........oh but I did have a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich for lunch...mmmm(tomatos were fresh from the garden, yum)
  21. Jude, thats great news. Ya, the icons, sometimes I just have to much time on my hands:ohwell: ......
  22. Yikes........I'm running out of days to fit all my work-outs I have left to do. I had better not skip any more days. Dosent August have 41 days? LOL
  23. Yoda, Don't give any thought to what that bad doc said!! Don't even think about it. Don't give up, don't go for the chips, keep going, keep going!!!!! When is your next fill. We'll just "up the ante" thats all. HANG IN THERE, MY FRIEND
  24. Yes, but I betcha ya don't feel like eating? .....:Banane27:
  25. kim, when they put the saline in the band, your right, it just gets a little tighter, but this can cause a little swelling. So, with the little swelling plus the new fill, they usually tell you to stick to fluids. My doc say no food or water 2 hours before and no food for 2 hours after, then just mushie stuff for a day, thats all. It really isnt a big deal.:Banane27:
