angel bear, I'm the same as you. Don't mind the pain, just don't want to see it. When I get bloodwork done I cannot watch, it dosent bother me at all as long as I don't see it. Same with the fill. Actually there barely no pain at all, they stretch the skin so tight you cannot feel it. Just don't look, the needle it a bit scary. Tell the doc to put a towel over your face or something. What helped me is I crossed my arm kinda over my boobs so I couldnt see over them. I could still see and talk to doc, but I couldnt see below his elbows. Now that I've had 2 fills, I do not plan to do that again, I'll probably even watch next time. Honestly, just don't look and you'll be fine!!

Thats not good news about FIL, hope he's okay!! And that is super news about 50 lbs.....Ya Hooooo!!!!

Glad to hear everything went well for you, Wheezy. Just be careful when your eating. You may not feel much right now but with the right type or amount it could catch you off guard, and off you RUN to the bathroom!! I hope it's a good one for you so you don't have to return for a while!!

Okay, I think our Planets are realigning or something. Everyone I've talked to this week, including myself are just about ready to burst. Everybody seems to be plagued with very strange, stupid things. Very stressful, annoying things are going on. Some tide or some moon or stars or something is out of whack. Lol. Hopefully they will get it together soon, so we can all have a relaxing enjoyable Thanksgiving!

Hi Y, I found the pain of surgery minimal. I never had surgery before and I expected more pain. It is very localized to the cuts, and some people have gas pain in shoulders and what-not but chewing gas x relieves that. There are 5 cuts. 4 of them are like puncture cuts, very small. 1 is about 2 inches. I did not have any stitches on the 4 cuts, just tape. And on the bigger one, just a couple stitches that are cut about 2 weeks later. I was also very scared, but very excited too. You should be excited too, what a great decision you've made. I had Dr. Cobourn. I cannot say enough about him. I Love Him!!!! He will put you at ease the minute you see him. Others on this site had their procedures done at TLBC and loved thier experience as well. Keep us posted!!!
