  1. Today’s been a bit of a rough day for me. We flew home from Ft Lauderdale to Seattle. My back is super sore from the plane ride, and I still have both my drains. I feel like once those come out I’ll be feeling better. It’s a bumpy ride for sure! Hopefully a good nights sleep in my own bed will help me feel better tomorrow.
  2. Absolutely! The better I take care of myself and the better I feel, the better I am at all other things including being a wife, mom, employee, and member of my community.
  3. Nope. Not even once. This has been life changing for me. What would be a reason to have it reversed?
  4. Love it!!! @ ms sss, I could only hear it until I downloaded it, then I was able to see the video.
  5. Not sure if links are allowed, but here’s the link to the leggings: https://flamingo.shop/store/product/body-shaping-wide-waistband-sports-leggings?_bdt=Sports%20%26%20Activewear%20Top%20Sellers&_bdr=Collection&_bdh=sports-activewear-top-sellers&_channel=ProductCatelog
  6. I’m looking at the fajas that are basically shorts that go up to just under the bra line down to close to the knees-I’ve got several arm compression sleeve garments that I like, so don’t need the full body faja. I also found some leggings for later on that have a built in waist trainer!
  7. I’m feeling so much better yesterday & today! I was able to get outside and walk for awhile yesterday. Today we’re heading out to a faja shop for a fitting. Anyone who is on the fence, go for it! The worst of the pain and discomfort only lasts a couple days, and I’m delighted with my results.
  8. I’m really feeling the fatigue too. I had my first shower today. It felt amazing, but I needed a nap afterwards!
  9. From what I learned most only will under very limited circumstances. For example, if you have chronic wounds or rashes under you belly they may pay for a panniculectomy.
  10. I’m really happy with how everything looks, and it looks like my thighs got some improvement from the TT.
  11. My family loves teriyaki take out, which always comes with sticky rice. I can about 2 bites of it along with my portion of meat. More than that and I’m either very uncomfortable or puking.
  12. Post op day #2. Just had a massage & shower. Here’s my first pic!
  13. Quick update. I’m still in quite a bit of pain, dizzy at times. I had my first post op visit today which took a lot out of me. I got a peek at everything and I’m very happy! I get to shower tomorrow, will have my husband get some pics.
  14. Just woke up back in our AirBnB. I remember waking in the PACU yelling and crying in pain. They gave me more meds and my ride home was relatively ok. I’ve been sleeping since but just walked and drank some water. Back to bed for now. Haven’t really seen much except that my ? is looking straight ahead rather than down at the floor.
  15. My surgeon provides a set of the rechargeable Circul-8 compressions devices.
  16. A get together sounds super fun! I’m in, Florida or Italy (once we’re allowed overseas travel again ?)

    Stunning! ?????
  18. I’m cringing at these, but know how much I appreciated seeing others “before” photos. Last photo is the day of my VSG at 262lbs, I’d lost 24 in my pre op period. Today I’m 155. 5’4”, 50 years old. 16 months post VSG. Having my tummy tuck, breast lift w/augmentation, and arm lift with Dr. Alex Earle in Miami.
  19. Oh wow, my doctor is awesome. So kind and patient, took a bunch of time and answered all of my questions. I’m going with 375cc moderate profile gummy bear implants. He said I have a ton to take off my abdomen, I’m looking forward to the pic they’ll take of everything they remove. Surgery at 5:30am tomorrow!
  20. Great news! I hope you slept well, and that your pain is still in good control ❤️
  21. Best of luck tomorrow @ChubRub! I can’t wait to hear about your experience ❤️
  22. Wednesday is my pre op, Thursday is surgery.
  23. That’s a good idea. I’m going to pick up a toilet seat riser and shower chair when we get to Miami, I’ll grab a cane too.
