Any August 2019 people out there?
Hello my August Sibs!![emoji112][emoji112] I also hit a stall at week 4 and 5 and much as I knew this and even expected it, it can be so disconcerting!!! But sure enough between Friday and this morning (I'm a weekly weigher but got on the scale this am for no reason) and I'd lost 4lbs!!!!! For a 27lbs lost since surgery! I'm in the 180s and I tell you it's been a while and puts some pep in my step!! I'm officially 6 weeks and was at the gym this am for spin and muscle classes and my energy is through the roof!!![emoji119][emoji119][emoji119] I hope you are all doing fantastic and please share your peaks and valleys!!???????

Write down something good: I was just writing in my journal that I am gaining confidence in my ability to live this lifestyle longterm and for me this is a BIG deal!!! B side: I always find time to read!! No matter how busy! It's my way of decompressing after a long day! Even if for 10 minutes. Off to completing my squats?

POST SURGERY- When did you get your energy back and go to the gym?
I tried going back a bit early....like 3 weeks because I also felt great but I couldn't cut it. I'm 6 weeks now and I'm finally getting back slowly. I'm going to get a personal trainer to help. I was getting steps in at home though and Consistently at 10K daily in the early days, now at least at 15K steps daily to keep endurance. Good luck ??

? SEP 2019 CHALLENGE ?
TGIF!!!!!!![emoji119][emoji119][emoji119] This was a helluva week!!!? Day 24, 25 and 26 Hubby and I did date night last weekend. It was lovely! I'm not on any social media other than Bariatric pal by choice! So nothing to unfollow. I definitely said no to writing a blog for work. I'm typically the go to person for the blogs but I was TRULY swamped this week so it was a "HECK NO"!! Moment when I was asked! No guilt too!! Day 27: I'm using my phone as we speak so hard for it to be a phone free night. I may drop it when I'm done writing this[emoji2].....but then again, I'm on call tonight so no can't do. Squats!! Was happy for rest day! From day 25 onwards, squats have been done in 2 events![emoji28] I'll complete the rest of my 95 later tonight. B side: My older sister is my absolute girl crush!! I ? her!! She's admirable, courageous and FIERCE!!! Did I say TGIF??? Yay!!

August 2019 Check In
Hey MarvelGirl25!! So proud of your weight loss!!!! I've not lost that much and also at a stall[emoji19] I'm trying not to think about the scale and staying focused on the plan...marathon not sprint! I'm typically at 500 to 600 cals per day with less than 20g net carbs and 70 to 80 grams protein. 15K steps daily!! So the stall can mess with one's head! So stay in the game, we've seen this time and time again. Body will get over shock soon and start moving as it has no choice! We are at severe caloric deficit. So let's power through the stall and be proud of how we handle it as in the past, this is when I'd start cheating and now, nothing could be further from my mind! We are in it to win/lose it!!![emoji38][emoji123][emoji123][emoji123][emoji123][emoji123][emoji123]
