  1. Started at 230. Surgery on March 27th down to 188
  2. I took off 6 weeks but extended by 3 more.
  3. The night before my surgery I actually thought about canceling it. I didn’t and it has been the best decision for me. I had minor complications but doctors were on it. Just think past the surgery and pain the life you are getting back. My weight held me back from doing so many things and three weeks post op I don’t feel any pain and I am very happy to have gone through it. Don’t be discouraged, this will change your life. May God be with you through this amazing journey. May he guide the surgeons hands and make this experience an easy one for you in Jesus name. Amen!!!
  4. I don’t know if you guys have a smart watch or smartphone but you can have it set to buzz every 15 minutes for sips. That is the only I can get mine in.

  7. Listen, this surgery wasn’t an easy one nor light decision to make. We are who are and shouldn’t worry about others. Believe it or not those same people we are intimidated by have more insecurities then we do. Go with a friend so you can keep the focus on your goals and not who is looking at you. I had to learn this.
  8. Hi, I take one and my doctor had me take it up to Surgery and started back three days after. Just make sure they know what medication it is.

  11. The pain with breathing did get worse and I ended up in the ER then admitted. They said I had an infection in my stomach and gave me antibiotics. I have to take three pills FOUR times a day ??‍♀️. But I am glad I didn’t ignore it and I am already feel better after two days on the medication.
  12. Thank you briswife and congratulations poppyseed28. I have lost 13 and I am at day 11. I was healing good but.the last two days or so it hurts when I take a deep breath, yawn etc. as for the salads, I will ask my nutritionist again and pack it with chickens, boiled eggs etc. more protein. I have to say this forum has helped me a lot. Thank you
  13. Question???? Is it really a bad idea to have salads after gastric sleeve? Pre surgery you would have to pay me to eat a salad. 10 days post surgery all I can think about is the different types of salads I wish I can eat. My nutritionist said it’s not advised because it lacks needed protein etc. please let me know your experience with salads post surgery.
  14. Wow! I am at day 8 and have no energy. I commend you for going back to work but that is way to early. Take it easy. I was blessed be able to take off 6 weeks.
  15. I had my surgery on the 27th which was Wednesday. Came home late Friday. I actually had a bowel movement on Saturday, Sunday and today. The Gas goes up my neck and the gas tablets do not help. I have been walking as well. I am also experiencing muscle aches. But I emailed my nutritionist a few minutes ago asking if I can start my vitamins. Waiting to hear back. Thank you for your support

  18. Hi everyone, my name is Tereza from San Diego California. Married with 4 kids. Started at 230 at 5”4 and trying to get to a healthy weight of around 165-170. I had the sleeve 5 days ago and I am sore. They gave me narcos to take home which has me sleepy all the time. I need to walk more but too tired.
