  4. Thank you! Just came back from a 5km jog and am now down to 185.8lbs!!! Only 10.8 lbs to my goal weight of 175! ? I believe I can go a bit further now, too. I will see! Eeeek!!! ?
  5. Absolutely wonderful & inspirational! Thank you for sharing! ?
  6. Happy Saturday! Yes, I find that if my day is moderately busy, I am more apt to “stick to the plan” and just get what my body needs..without wanting, or thinking about the extras. It definitely helps me to plan ahead lol
  7. Thank you to everyone! I hope you all know how much I appreciate being able to share and have such positivity here! It’s such a great way to hold ourselves accountable as we reach out to one another and reach goals! We never know whose lives we touch and who needs just that little extra boost or push out of our comfort zones! ????
  8. I have moved my way from morbidly obese to obese, and now, ? overweight!!! I can hardly believe it, but am so elated at this point! Not only under 300 lbs, 250, 200, and now 190!!! I celebrated last weekend by jogging my first 5km marathon! I can’t wait to cut my time for this, however, am also working towards 10 Kms ~ I was able to do 8 kms last week! Still can’t believe this! We’ve got this!!!
  9. Woot woot!!! Way to go! ?
  10. Thank you everybody! What an adventure!
  11. This was something that I was worried about as well. However, I just kept sticking to the guidelines given to me...can’t go wrong with that!
  12. Thank you GradyCat! I meant to take a picture of that moment as well, but then totally forgot with the emotions lol Congratulations to you too!!! ?
  13. Yesterday was a beautiful Sabbath day, which also marked 2 of my goals! I was able to jog 5 full laps around the track without stopping, and entered the wonderful land of Onederland!!! I kept stepping on & off the scale to make sure the numbers were accurate! I became so elated that I began crying while doing so...I haven’t been below 200 in probably 24 years! When I came out of my room, I started to tell my children, and began crying again...it’s surreal, but, wow, what a feeling!!!
  14. I’m in!!! Love it
  15. Absolutely, FluffySaysForkIt! (Love your name, btw!!!) Just waiting for my body to adjust again and continue on ? I anticipate moving into onederland, was hoping by the end of this month, but, looks like maybe next month...and that’s okay, because without the surgery, I would most likely be where I was, battling with the same 10 lbs...constantly.
  16. Yessss, definitely!!! And, thank you! ?
  17. Don’t mind me...just wandering around, taking in the sights while plateau-Ing. ?
  18. But it is YOUR pride, Frustr8!!! Feel it & own it...you’re the only one that can, and it’s yours! ?
  19. This is one of the reasons I am glad to be here...my first reaction was a bit of panic, because it was grilled into us to start taking the vitamins & supplements after discharged home. Everyone helps keep things in perspective...
  20. Oh no, sorry to hear this! I’m glad to see that you’re getting past the setbacks and feeling better. So far so good here...one day at a time, right?
  21. Wow! Way to go! You must be so happy & proud! You look great & healthy! Look at those muscles & definition!!! Congratulations on your entry to onederland! Your hard work & dedication paid off...
  22. How are all our January wls siblings doing? ?
  23. Yuuup!!! I just hope I won’t be tucking my boobs into my waistband when this is all over...going to have to make sure the fan isn’t on when the bra comes off or someone might get a black eye! Lol Congratulations though to all of us for our victories!!! ?
  24. Yes, please get your vitamins & supplements ASAP!!! This is one of the things they always stress! You do not want complications due to insufficiencies! Your body needs this.
