I was sleeved on the 25th and so far so good. Very little pain from the start, can get everything down. Following instructions to a tee. Can see progress but haven’t weighed (personal choice). I have one major concern. Before the procedure my vision was 20/13 in both eyes. Have always had crazy good vision. I can’t read a label now unless it’s at arms length. The closer things get to my eyes the blurrier it becomes. Anything further than arms length is perfect, no issues. I’m concerned whether this is a temporary side effect or permanent. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this problem yet.

How did your surgery go? How are you doing now? Thank you all for the well wishes. The procedure went great Kris77. The worst thing for me after the procedure was feeling nauseous but the meds they gave me helped a bunch. I left the hospital the following day and today was my first day at home. I was able to walk around the block twice today and have taken no pain meds. I feel very good about the way things are going.

One hour away from my VSG surgery. Excited to see where this journey will take me. Let’s do this!
