I don't think it's shallow. I personally love to hear that people are happy with themselves. I think it's probably a teapot healthy thing to feel good and confident about the way you l look.

Belly button cut?
They told me I had 6 ports during my surgery. There are 6 slices on my abdomen but I also have noticed that my belly button is cut. I dreamt that my belly button was crusty but now it really is. I'm not sure if it's from the surgery or not. Anyone wise have issues week ugh their belly button after our know if that's a typical place for them to cut?

Laying down
I slept on my side last night with the help of the support band. It felt AMAZING and my baby was so excited to have me in bed with her [emoji173]

Laying down
I had surgery on March 14th and still have not been able to lay in my bed. I've been sleeping in the recliner and it's KILLING my back! Anyone else find it painful to lay in bed on their side because of the weight of your own stomach? How long before you were able to do it?

Personal preparation for surgery
I worked on incorporating all the n new behaviors so I could hit the ground running. Sit at the table no less than 20 no more than 30 and no distracted eating. Chew Chew Chew Chew CHEW! Used tiny silverware and took little bites. Cardio 30 mins a day. Shake for lunch every day. Alsowatched tons of YouTube videos. Asked my bf to write a list of things he was excited to do with me once I got smaller. Got in the habit off doing meal prep. Learned what triggers my anxiety and found solutions for it!

Fear of being hungry, and RNY success
I don't think I was always hungry but I just like to eat. It tastes good and when I'm bored it's an easy way to feel satisfied by something. I'm on my pre op liquid diet right now. I started it on the first. My surgery is on the 14th. For the 2 weeks before surgery I let myself eat what I wanted but I didn't let myself eat as much as I wanted. I tried at each meal to have one of my favorites but I ate in moderation and threw the rest away. I'm doing really well on the liquid diet with the exception of yesterday when I was off work and all I wanted to do was eat. I don't know if it's because I was bored or because my blood sugar was really low but I made my daughter nachos and I took a chip and I was licking it and it was really hard to stop myself from eating it but I did. I find myself being sad that there are certain foods my body might never tolerate again and the flip side is that I hope that happens. I worry that I'll get the wrong kind of pouch I've hears others talk about where they can tolerate everything and eat a bunch. So yes I do have that worry but I also know that this is not a fix. It's a tool. Also every person is different. I hope you don't feel this way post op.
