  8. My surgery is May 2 and I went the absolutely the other way. I started a website and blogs about the surgery and how my life is changing and what I'm learning in this process. It has been very affirming and therapeutic, but I'm also laying it out there and cutting off the nay-sayers at the pass. I know this is excessive for some people, but it is working for me. www.itsaneducation.weebly.com

  10. Surgery scheduled May 2. Start all liquid tomorrow. Problem- I was supposed to lose 20lbs before I got to this point, I did not. Question- what is the average weight loss on the 2 week all liquid pre-op diet. Do I even have a chance? Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. NutraSweet, aspartame and most other artificial sweeteners give me migraines. I have a concern when I go on my liquid diet when they say "sugar- free" that I will have a very limited choice when it comes to flavor. I can have stevia, but wondered if there was anyone else out there with this issue and if there were other sugar substitutes that were allowed or what other "sweet" liquids were still on the table. Thank you! Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
