  15. I'm 55 yrs old. I have been on diet after diet since I was 13 yrs old. I was 220 lbs when I got married at 20 yrs old. 35 yrs later before I had this surgery done, I was 337 lbs. I had my surgery done on the 7th of February. It's almost a week since I had it done. My emotions are everywhere. I love food so very much. It's going to be so hard that I can't eat what I want. Like, Indian, arabic, fast food, ice cream, cakes and chocolates. I have four daughter's and 5 grandchildren and a husband that depend on me to be around. I'm really glad that I got This done. I know it will take time to get where I want to be, I just have to be patient and confident. This forum helps a lot. Sent from my LG-M327 using BariatricPal mobile app

  17. I just had the surgery done on Thursday. I'am having stomach cramps, spasms, pain and discomfort. I have been afraid to eat anything, cause of all the discomfort that I'm having. The gas pains are unbearable. It hurts so much. I have also been depressed since the surgery. My question is will all of this pass. Or is this what I have to look forward to for the rest of my life.
