  1. I use GMC lean chocolate and vanilla. Also premier shakes. You can add PB to any of them! I like the premade shakes! Makes life easier.
  2. @Lolo 2020 I’m plan to step up my game tomorrow to hopefully work out the rest of my gas! Going to do some light Zumba and step work. I feel much better now about not getting crazy workouts in yet, thank you!!
  3. @newmeday my scale has been back and forth as well. Totally think it’s all the gas! I’m doing all the same walking, as well! Grocery store, Walmart, up and down my stairs. It is absolutely helping with my gas release. The change to purée and soft is amazing, enjoy! Hope you’re feeling great!
  4. Ed_NW they wanted me to be at the gym on the elliptical the 19th! I could barely walk let alone run! I was shocked. 4 days after and I’m on my stage 2 100% diet. Thank you!
  5. I’m 3 days out, 1/17/19, and I’m feeling much better today. I had the worst gas pain in my hips and shoulder. Today, I was able to get out of bed without my fiancé’s help. I’m able to advance to stage 2 (purées) today but really nervous... I’m so tired of protein shakes and I’m so tired of the taste of “water”... Gas-X has been my best friend! Anyone have tips for starting to work out? So nervous! I want to get the scale moving but not hurt myself!!
  6. Also, try adding powdered PB to your shakes. Truly turns it into something amazing!
  7. Vitamin water zero and Powerade zero, as life savers to break up different flavors!
  8. I havd my surgery done at 12:45p, Thursday (today). After about 10 hours I felt like my self again. Thinking clear and walking on my own. I’m so lucky to have an amazing husband and found an amazing surgeon and hospital. My sleeve took 20 minutes before of how well I followed my two week diet, even though I cheated a few times very little. I’m very sore but nothing I can’t handle! I can’t believe I made it!!!
  9. 2Shea- yes, please 3 protein shakes a day! Thanks for the advice!!
  10. I am in the same boat with 90 pound weight loss goal to be “BMI” healthy! I’ve heard that it is harder to lose but we got this!!
  11. Hey Everyone! With a surgery scheduled for 1/17, I am starting my 2-week Pre-OP liquid diet today. I am allowed no solids, and with the exception of unlimited sugar free liquids and jello and broth, I can only have 1 egg, 1/2 cup ricotta cheese and 1 cup of yogurt daily. Any suggestions or words of wisdom to add variety into the next two week?!
  12. My Surgery is on January 17th, as well. I’m having mine done near NYC. I’m starting my two week liquid diet on the 3rd! I’m nervous as well!
  13. I’m nervous too but I’m so excited for this new journey! Stressing over my pre-op diet ( starting the 3rd) more than anything??‍♀️
