  7. I’ve been making sure I do at least 8oz an hour. I’m 5 days post op and have been doing that for about the last 3 days. Helps get things moving. I’ll sip the whole hour.
  8. I had my surgery on the 10th. Came home yesterday and immediately stepped on the scale. Was 16lbs heavier then when I went in. Since leaving hospital I’ve been hitting the bathroom about twice an hour. I guess the iv fluids coming out. Weighed this morning and was down below when I went in for surgery. I also make it a point to walk for 5-10 min an hour to heal with soreness. Makes a huge difference. Good luck.
  9. Passing gas never felt so good!! 2 days post op and I was partially miserable and bloated this morning. Once the gas started rolling and released, feels like a new me. Still sore, but much more tolerable.
  10. Hoping you’re feeling better. I had mine on the 10th as well. I suspect I’ll be going home some time today. I’m now walking every 30min. It helps. Make sure you’re walking to anyone that follows.
  11. I was too. But it’s bearable. I live down I’m Charlottesville, VA. The staff truly makes a difference.
  12. @Denise, I’m feeling pretty good. A tiny bit sore. But not too bad. Was my first surgery ever, so it was more scared of the surgery than anything. But it went well.
  13. Seems cooler liquids causes spasms. Warmer calms it down. Recovery not as bad as I thought. Staff has really made this a breeze.
  14. So I had my surgery yesterday. Things are going well, and I should be going home in the morning. Thanks for all the well wishes. Now If I could control these dang hiccups. Lol. MrClasik
