  3. Vegetable broth is a option, and target sells vegan protein shakes. Also I googled vegan jello before and a bunch of recipes came up. And I think Walmart sells some online.
  4. So I start my two week liquid and veggie only (steamed, raw or baked) diet on Sunday and I am terrified ?. I went shopping today and got some protein shakes and protein water. Tomorrow I’m going to grab sugar free jello, popsicles, broth and veggies. I’m just super nervous Im scared to death of being hungry I know that sounds weird. But I’m scared that I won’t get through it and I mess up. It’s not about not having faith in myself its about knowing myself. So after saying all of that anything I’m missing that I should grab? Or any tips on how to power through these next two weeks so I can avoid being hangry (hungry and angry) and committing food-icide (food homicide) and messing up.

  14. Thanks for actually watching and not just calling bs after reading the title. The video made so much sense to me. Doesn’t matter what type time he’s on now as far as making money what he said in the video was true. Your mindset has to now match your new body and often times being obese and losing the weight doesn’t always changes everyone’s frame of mind. Looking at the gym as punishment and not as a goal won’t help you in the long run. I know for me when my mind wasn’t in it or I was in the gym out of guilt or self pity I didn’t last long.

  16. He doesn’t push any product or anything in the video. Like i previously said it’s really informative. Check it out....
  17. The Dr doesn’t actually say don’t work out at all but under what pretenses are we actually trying to work out under? That matters, it won’t be beneficial to patients who were formally obese unless we work on out mental state first.
  18. It’s actually not misleading at all he doesn’t say don’t work out at all he says make sure you have a,b, and c together before you work out or it’ll be a punishment to your body and not beneficial. Definitely something everyone should watch.

  20. Soo I know it sounds crazy right? But I just watched a super informative video and it made soooooo much sense. I found this Dr on YouTube who is famous for weight loss surgery’s. And he gives really really good information on why you shouldn’t work out after surgery and when your truly ready to work out it’s like 30 mins long but it was really good check it out. “;Dr. Duc Vuong is an internationally renowned bariatric surgeon and a leading expert in education for the bariatric patient”
  21. Definitely call and tell them, your anesthesiologists has to know that before hand
  22. Sooooooo super excited that my surgery was approved and I’m locked in on 1/28/19! Although it’s later than I wanted I plan on making the most of my time before hand. My bday is 2/11 so I plan to celebrate 1/11 instead. That’ll give me the chance to have a super lit game night with tacos and margaritas before I make this life change... can’t wait anybody else getting vsg done in January?
  23. Update: so insurance has my file but it’s still pending when I called the rep said your surgery is scheduled for 1/24 right? I’m like uhhhhh I was never given a date I was told I had to wait to see what y’all said. She said oh ok well that’s what they put on your paper work. So I’m a little excited but I know when I talked to them they said they only had one more date in January which was the 31st. I would happily accept the 24th but Im scared to get my hopes up, the date could just be something they put on there and there’s a Chance I won’t be approved. I’m now thinking of the fact that I gained weight during my 6 months (even tho the nutritionist said not to worry she believes my metabolism needs to be reset and the insurance company will see that in her notes) but I’m still super worried. I just wana get this over with it’s legit stressing me out now ??
  24. Don’t panic just call first thing in the am tell them to send it over. Wait a hour call the Insurance company to see if it was received if so ask them to expedite the decision being as tho you have surgery scheduled for Wednesday. Call both offices alllllllllll day until you find out an answer.
  25. Like I get y’all busy or whatever but come on answer the phone, return calls, do what y’all are supposed to do. This might not be life threatening but it’s major to us.
