Phillysawdocfan reacted to Brenttx in December 2018 Sleevers!Yesterday was my one monthiversary. I was down 26 pounds at surgery and have lost 42 in the first month since! Unbelievable! 68 total pounds and that's through the Holidays! Just had to share and hope all of my fellow December sleevers are doing great in recovery and in the beginning of their new journey.

Phillysawdocfan reacted to SkinnyMiki in December 2018 Sleevers!I just had my surgery yesterday!!! Finally I got this thing done. I’m having a lot of gas pain though. And I’m having a hard time getting in these liquids. Day 2 at the hospital .??❤️ -
Phillysawdocfan reacted to FancyChristine15 in How is water going for people?Oh, my. You really need to up that water intake. My goal is 90oz a day, and I'm usually able to hit it. I was getting my 64oz a day by a week post op, so it's doable. Add water flavoring to it if you need to, but you've really got to get more water.

Phillysawdocfan reacted to imsarah18 in December 2018 Sleevers!I'm 1 week out. Been getting a lot of rest. When I drink the gas seems to have lessened. I was able to get through a yogurt this morning without having to put it back due to gas pains. Still have another week until pureed. I did try some crab meat last night and it didn't cause any gas or discomfort. I go to dietiation on Tuesday gonna ask if I can move forward earlier. Start vitamins tomorrow.

Phillysawdocfan reacted to SCPjourney in December 2018 Sleevers!Had surgery on 12th! The first couple hours were suck-ish. But once I got up to my room started feeling better with meds for pain and nausea. I’m glad I didn’t throw up. No nausea right now so I hope it stays that way! The nurses have been responsive and great! I’ve walked many times, which is important to move out the gas. All in all a very positive experience so far! ????
