  4. You don’t need anything as they’ll provide you with everything except for a cpap machine if your using one. Depending on your procedure your doing you may stay a night or two. I was brought in on the 27, but I had a DS with a sleeve revision so my stay is still going. I’m having trouble with the phase 1 with drinking I can’t drink it down. My doctor said my procedure was pretty smooth but extensive. And he said it’ll take some time to get to regular and he said I should be ok to head out tomorrow. He said if I only had the DS I should have been good earlier today. Wishing you good luck ?
  5. I have schedule my duodenum switch for tomorrow at 5:30 am est. Nervous for sure mainly for the pooping part lol… I am a COVID long hauler but all my doctors cleared me medically including mentally. I’ve had my sleeve done back in 2018 end of Oct too and was successful but since I got COVID my lack of mobility, steroids shots in my lower back and all the medicine didn’t help me. I went from 370 from my highest down to 215-220 then post my recovery I ballooned to 298 ?. But is cool I’m down to 288 as of now! Now to find out what my turnaround will be!!

  7. When I had mine done a few years back I had the same issue with water. Adding crystal lights minimized the aches going down. It was weird because prior to I didn’t like crystal light and I preferred water solo lol. But it’s true what my Dr. said your taste buds will change. And another thing he strongly suggested was to NOT buy in bulk yet since it’ll all be trial and error until one can discover what one can tolerate, because again what one might tolerate and like prior to surgery can change post. My revision from sleeve to duodenal switch is 10/27!!

  14. Mine is confirmed for October 27, 2021 for a duodenal switch, I had a gastric sleeve back in October 24 2018. Went from 360 to 215. I had a good run with it but ended up in the icu for 18 days due to COVID and nearly dying and became limited in mobility. I had such bad complications and I still do but more manageable. My body aches are so bad than when I was overweight. My Dr.’s don’t want to do another sleeve because the likelihood of gaining the weight back is greater again, whereas the duodenal switch is more effective, luckily my gastric doctor handles both and is excellent! I can’t wait, just nervous about the vitamin deficiency though ? good luck to you all!
