He did lipo on my arms before removing the skin - I forget how much he said. I have a picture of the actual skin removed but it's graphic and I dunno if I should post it here because people get grossed out. lol.

Estimate was 6 hours but I believe it took 5.

Surgery Day! and beyond: Part 2
My surgeon does not do abs and thighs and butt at the same time because it is a lot of stress on the body. Fun fact: the doctors on Botched don't do butt and abs at the same time either because you can either lay on your back or stomach... not both. lmao. That was Dr. Dubrow's explanation. Unrelated - the surgical center just charged me FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for use of their facilities when my estimate was 3700$ and prepaid. LOL. I am going to go postal on someone. It took me a YEAR to fix the error they made with my gallbladder bill. Looks like I have another saga....

I can finally fit my arms in arm holes! LOL I had several articles of clothing that I bought for post-op that I can now wear because my arms will fit in them. It's amazing. Ever since... forever... my arms prevented me from buying certain fabrics, etc, because it wouldn't stretch. No more!

How is getting sick different now?
I haven't vomited from being sick, but I recently vomited from drinking too much. lol. Nothing came up but foam. Mostly dry-heaving. I've definitely puked from dumping before - also... foam/mucus. SOMETIMES very small pieces of food.... but nothing stays in the pouch long enough and there's not really any stomach acid. Dry-heaving is almost worse than puking up food, imo. ;(

Yeah, there is barely any incision in my armpit. My surgeon said the same - he tries to avoid cutting down the armpit much at all because of scarring preventing you from raising your arms. P.S. I can shave now. lol. I'll post some updated pics later. The incisions look great. I go back on January 6th for a 6 week followup. Back at work now. booooo.

Wow, I'm surprised. I am a 34B and they fit perfectly; are you putting your bra on under it? You're supposed to have your bra on, and then put it on - that may make it snugger. I ordered one in beige the other day so I don't have to just deal with one stanky one.

Got my pit staples out today. One was bent so that was pinchy. I have some separation at my belly button but it's internal so the scar won't be visible. It isn't infected... just where they reattached it on one of the four spots pulled away a bit so it's a little thicker scar. Need to coat with Aquaphor and gauze for a little while. Other than that, all is awesome. I went clubbing Saturday and danced for 3 hours - no pain. I told the surgeon and he just laughed and said moving is great just don't do it if it swells or hurts... but nothing about this has hurt. Great experience so far!

I am proud of myself! I am eating healthy carbs! Okay, so I am not venturing into potato and pasta zone, BUT I was super low on carbs and afraid of them because they were my vice.... but every day for the last 2 weeks I've had at least one slice of multigrain bread, usually with cream cheese and lately I've been making toad in a hole (egg in a basket). I even tried peanut butter on the slice (I was scared of peanut butter because of "calories"). I am happy I overcame this and I'm getting in some healthy grain. It took a lot of willpower to try it. Toad in a hole is life. mmmm. I've lost some weight (I am 124) but I also just had that skin removal so I'm sure that has to do with it, too. De-swelling slowly overtime. lol.

Day 8 pics. No drains! Woohoo! Look. I have a bicep. lmao. I think I may order a third set of arm garments. The hospital ones I am never wearing again and the ones I just got stank so quickly.

Surgery Day! and beyond: Part 2
I wear a size 4 or so. I would go based on bicep circumference since you want to ensure you have good compression. This thing is amazing though. My surgeon asked the brand because he liked it so much they may switch to it. Update: got mah toobs out and the surgeon said it looked just like the rice noodles he had last night. i love him. lmao. also got the stitches off my belly button so hopefully that stays attached.... monday i go get my pit-staples out. then one more followup and i am done until my 6 month. gunna max chillax today so i can maybe do a thing this weekend. it's legit been only 8 days since surgery wtffffff. it feels like forever!

It's definitely weird to look at. I've never had staples before so I hope they don't hurt coming out. =/

Briachioplasty & full thigh lift
I had a brachioplasty on the 19th. I don't know what your compression garments look like but I just ordered this and I love it so much better. Hooks in the front and provides compression to the armpits. anyone considering an arm lift or had one recently should buy this BRABIC Upper Arm Shaper Post Surgical Slimmer Compression Sleeves Humpback Posture Corrector Tops Shapewear for Women (Beige, S) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K2TWL6F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2Wz3DbE7DE8XR I got two separate arms that hooked in the back that were crap. This is so much better and looks like a sleek off shoulder blouse. lol. And compresses the pits.

I think so. They seem puffy. The outer arms seems smaller than the inner, but it could be all the stitching. I'm sure itll be a while before everything settles down. I can poke my stomach and feel some fluid in there. My compression garments for my arms don't fit right. It rides up my neck and is giving me a rash so I have them ghetto rigged til Wednesday for my next appt. I found really nice ones on Amazon I want instead. The steristrips are already peeling off my stomach. I don't think he chopped TOO much off my hip tattoo. lmao. I also need to find out when I can wear deodorant because I have pit-staples.

Surgery Day! and beyond: Part 2
My surgeon was Paul Lambert in Winchester VA. I already got my arm drains out (on Friday). Washing my binders now. Feels weird without having the abdominal binder on. Not painful, just like everything is just going to spill out. lol. I just ordered a second one. Tummy drains come out Wednesday. Hugging my Baribear for compression. Sweet, sweet compression. lol.
