  1. I don't really get very many carbs. For example, my food yesterday was a cheese stick for breakfast, ground turkey meat balls for lunch, baked tilapia for dinner and a fudgecicle.
  2. Should I be adding some sort of Protein supplement? I struggle to get to 60g a day. I just don't want to add calories. I average about 600-700 right now.

  4. Now that it has been a year, where are you on the plastic surgery debate now?
  5. The post I responded to, she was still on liquids. My NUT also told me I should not be eating more than 3 meals a day.
  6. My NUT told me there is no way to get enough protein at that point
  7. I have always had a terrible sweet tooth. Unfortunately that has not changed. What do you do to satisfy or curb your sweet tooth?
  8. From what I have seen, just about all of us August surgeries have lost between 35-40 lbs. I am also incredibly hard on myself. I think we like that instant gratification of seeing the scale move.
  9. When I was on full liquids, lentil soup was my life saver, such good flavor after all the clear liquid stuff
  10. How much are you all able to drink?
  11. Hello, I had lap band to bypass 8/22. How much weight have you lost?
  12. Same! All the same!! The scar tissue and everything!
  13. We have had very similar experiences! Except my band caused me issues from day 1. With acid reflux which caused aspiration pneumonia and hospital stays. I had it for 6 years, My band slipped and when I had it removed I gained all 80lbs I had lost and then some. My doctor also didnt want to do the sleeve because he said it had many of the same problems as the band. I just had my revision almost 5 weeks ago and I feel pretty great. I wish I had done the bypass to begin with. They don't even do the bands anymore in this area.
  14. Our surgery date is the same. And our weight loss is only 2 lbs different!
  15. I've had a Lap-band to bypass revision. Originally I wanted to revise to sleeve, but my Dr said I would most likely have the same complications. Revision is so far so good. Good luck
  16. Actually, every surgeon gives a different plan. Mine started pureed at 3 weeks. So, just following what the surgeon who knows you is best.
