  1. I’m currently heading into my 7th week post op and still on soft foods. I have found myself in a major rut. Eating the same thing everyday that’s been easy on my pouch. But I need to branch out. So what’s your favorite soft food meal?
  2. First off, this place has been amazing. I have learned so much just reading various threads. Heck had I not read about the 3-4 week stall - I might currently be regretting having the surgery. So thanks to everyone that participates. You all have helped me on so many new sleeved questions. I have searched for this topic but couldn’t find my answers so I wanted to just ask. I am 3 weeks post op and find that I can drink water normal now without pain of any kind. I am currently on purée foods and struggle when to know I have reached the full point. Usually I find out by having that one bite too many. So my questions - 1) anyone able to drink normally at this point, it just sipping? I only drink water currently. 2) are there suggestions on how to NOT to take that extra bite? Hopefully my questions made sense and I apologize in advance if I have overlooked the answers to my questions here on the forum. HW 226 SW 206 CW 189

    Protein Struggle

Thanks Ed! I have ordered some to try out. I am going to make some homemade popsicles with it to help as well.
  4. I am struggling with getting protein down. It’s not the drinking issues it’s the protein shakes that I’m struggling with. Are there any other suggestions on how to get protein in? I’m 5 days post op.
  5. If you can’t handle water, what else can be done for hydration purposes?
  6. First time posting and just wanted to see if there is some advice. Seems like every time I sip, my stomach acts like it having hunger pains. Lots of gurgling sounds. But I’m not hungry. Also ... I am struggling learned to actually SIP! Any advice would be appreciated.
