  8. Recidivist. This weeks seems to be dragging out. I am ready as this is a long process. I am looking forward to having a couple weeks off from work as well.
  9. Getting closer and more real. How is everyone doing so far
  10. If you are scheduled for surgery in March, start sharing those dates. Make some friends with people who are having surgery on the same day
  11. Surgery is less than one week away. Getting real now. Pictures will be taken in prep.
  12. Recidivist, things are going fine. They put me on a keto style diet. I can eat meat and non starch veggies. No sugar, no dairy no starch like potatoes or pasta, and no fruit. I can have almonds or cashews. I have been doing this a week all ready. Today, I only ate once all day and could not figure out why I was starving. So I got some meat for dinner tonight. The tough thing about this diet is we have been without power at our house for the last three days. But I have stuck to the diet
  13. So proud of everyone. Keep up with your positive thoughts.
  14. 2b smaller. I am scheduled on February 18th as well. What is your diet liked
  15. Mikeyy. They put me on a similar diet to atkins or keto. Eat as much meat and non starch veggies as I want. I cannot have any sugar fruit and any carbs outside the veggies. I cannot have dairy either
  16. I am disappointed that I do not get your diets for my bypass. I can have all the meat I want and non starch veggies. I cannot have dairy, sugar, fruit and any carbs besides the one in veggies
  17. I had the physician assistant tell me there are cases that they have a hard time doing bypass because men usually carry their weight in their stomach and they are usually taller making it difficult to sometimes do the bypass. Is this something to be concerned with as when I spoke to my surgeon she did not mention this
  18. Kicked caffeine as well. Day 8 without it
  19. Hou can do it. Just look at the reason why you are getting it done
  20. How long did surgery last
  21. I have a count down on my phone. It is getting more and more real. Monday will be 2 weeks exactly prior to surgery. I meet with the dietician for preop diet. I know that I can have meat. I just can have zero carbs, sugar, fruit. I check veggies and that to has carbs. So we will see what else. Not all liquid though. Then I meet with the physician assistant to do a last review prior to surgery. Probably be more real on Monday than todat
  22. Awesome Everything. Mine is the 18th
  23. Not sure completely. My last nutritionist appointment is Monday Morning. There I will get my preop diet
