I got there about 8:30 and didn't get out until almost 11! Didn't get a fill...I didn't want to be too tight before my son's wedding in June I only lost 1 pound but that's ok I am sorry I missed seeing you!

My appointment is on the 12th 8am Hope I get a fill...I haven't lost anything in 2 months! Maybe this band isn't going to work for me :thumbsup:

Linda, Just checking to see how you are feeling...did you get in to see Hoffman?

How is everyone doing with the weight loss...I have lost almost 50 lb since I began the process in Sept. Slow process but it is working! I have only had .5 added to my band. Anyone else have an update they would like to share?

Alot of people have acid reflux and the hernia ...that will not stop being able to have the band. My journey started in Feb 08 and my surgery was 10/6/08 by Dr Hoffman. I lost 17 pounds pre-op on South Beach and have lost 23 more since surgery. That's not bad considering Thanksgiving & Christmas. I had Independent Health and had no trouble being approved for the surgery. Good luck on your journey! BTW there is a Buffalo/Dr Hoffman thread here too

Twirl, I was banded 10/6/08 I have never vomited nor do I often feel hungry.. this is the best thing I have ever done for myself! I started this journey in Feb with all the doctor's appointments weighing 260 and today the scale says 221. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Don't second guess yourself JUST DO IT you will never look back

oh and drink, drink, drink! lol

I saw Linda this morning..she looked great! She was just waiting to be discharged. I had my post-op with Hoffman too. He said I was doing great and could start pureed foods. I lost 12 lbs since my pre-op visit. Band, sorry to hear about the sliming & PB ing Hope that gets better soon!
